bobbi always weaves an excellent story with several sub-plot lines threaded together like a stephen king novel---
Brazen is no exception--the characters are ones we care about--and this book --as with all of hers--is fast paced--a great diversion ,,,thanks bobbi!!!

What did you like about Casey-
Her spunk and mischevious nature. Her love for her dad. And helping Frank with his disability by making him a wheelchair.

What didn't you like about Casey-
There wasn't really anything I didn't like about Casey. Although at first she couldn't admit to Michael her true feelings for him. She was too stubborn.

What did you like about Michael-
His love for his family and his ranch.

What didn't you like about Michael-
There wasn't really anything I didn't like about him, although I didn't like at first how he couldn't see Casey as a woman, and he treated her coldly. He couldn't forget about the past. He couldn't tell Casey his real feelings for her at first. He was too stubborn.

If I had to cast Casey, I'd cast Natalie Maines.

Summary: another wonderful story from Bobbi
Review: I found this book to be so charming. The story between Casey and Michael unfolds before your eyes and what starts out to be an arranged marriage turns into something much deeper. Also the way Casey is transformed from a "boyish" ranch hand to a beautiful women is fun. It's fast paced, funny, tender and one you'll want to keep on your bookshelf for re-reading. Great job with your characters Bobbi.

It's a GREAT book! READ IT! You won't be disappointed!

Review: I just finished another excellent novel by Bobbi Smith. A novel that has humor, adventure, mystery, and romance. It is an easy read. One that is entertaining. I would highly recommend the book to anyone.

I do have one other comment to make. Thsi doesn't have to do with the book itself, but a review I read. One person wrote that the book was like a freeway accident. WELL everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it seems that this person expressed more anger with thenselves then anything-or maybe they really were in a freeway accident and just haven't realized it yet.
This book doesn't depict romance in a since of body parts. Just decent romance and love. It seems that there are many people that still like that type of story line rather than hard porn. Guess if you want that maybe you should go to a porn shop instead of reading Bobbi.
BUT GUESS WHAT, Bobbi is an excellent writer not because I say so, but because she has over 1 million books in print. BRAZEN was her 47th novel with three more coming out in the next year and she has been on the NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLERS LIST!!!
The person that gave the one start probably has written a novel or two. Bet there in a dresser drawer some place because she can't get them published. That's okay though you can look up for today. You finally got something published. A book review on Amazon. Might want to call your local newspaper and get some pub. BUT, my first recommedation wouldbe--GO TO THE EMERGENCCY ROOM AND GET FIXED WHAT EVER IT IS THAT HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE FREEWAY ACCIDENT. Then id I am mistaking about that just go down to your local porn shop. Bet you won't even have to buy something to read. You can just watch it!
FOR YOU BOBBI-just keep up the good work. You have brought enjoyment to millions of readers for years.

Review: I love reading the newest books from Bobbi Smith. Books normally take me about a week to read becasue I don't have the time to read. I actually read this book in one day. I can't remember the last time I've read a book in one day.

Review: I wasn't sure if this was suppose to be teen book or not. One would think with name and the cover that "Brazen" is not a teen read. The story was dragged out to long. I think they should have gotten married and concentrated on there relationship. I don't know but this book was not good at all.

Review: Once again Bobbi Smith has delivered a fast-moving, emotional read. It's 1879 and Michael Donovan has come home to Texas to find his father, Frank, crippled after an ambush. At first Michael thinks the culprits are the Turners, a family the Donovans have been feuding with for years.

Jack Turner, patriarch of the Turner clan, is dying. He is worried about the welfare of his daughter, Casey, once he's gone, for there are loans due on the ranch.

Frank is also worried about the future of his ranch, and he and Jack come to a difficult agreement: Michael and Casey must be married to end the feuding and ensure the futures of the ranches. So Michael and Casey reluctantly wed, only to find themselves falling in love. Meanwhile, someone is working secretly to see to it that Jack and Frank's plan fails....

I am a huge fan of Bobbi Smith's books, and BRAZEN is one of her best to date. The characters are beautifully drawn, and I found myself feeling Casey and Michael's love mixed with suspicion.

I highly recommend this fast-moving, emotional read from one of the finest writers of historical romance!
