Rating: Summary: Brenda Still Shines Review: As you can see from my header, Brenda is the one I feel shines in this trio of authors. Before you start reading the book, this reader suggests that you plug in a fan. Girlfriend, as usual, is smokin! No one can put a twist on romance writing like Ms. Jackson. The budding romance between Trask and Felicia turned into a smokin inferno and if you don't have a fan on hand you will certainly burn! . Notwithstanding romance, Ms. Jackson tugs at your heartstrings with the relationship she builds with the entrance of Felicia's son and his wish for Christmas; thus you should also have a handkerchief ready with that fan. If you're looking for romance, Ms. Jackson is the diva of that subject. The story by Felicia (another of my favorite authors) was cute. I can't give any kudos at all for Ms. Walker. I didn't like the writing style.
Rating: Summary: Love is Truly Everlasting-As always, I Truly Loved It Review: Brenda Jackson has done it again. You just have to love her. Felicia and Trask truly has a story that makes you sit up and take notice! This book was hot and very steamy. It is one of those books that has you talking to the characters saying: "why are you fighting the feeling, if only I was in your shoes" type stories. I am big fan of Mrs. Jackson. I've read all her books to date including "Secret Love." I had that one a couple of days after its release date and finished it in one day. So Brenda's a very talented woman, I recommend this and all of her books to put a smile on your face! After reading thing book, you will say, "God has blessed your with a gift. "All the other stories in Something to Celebrate were just lovely too!
Rating: Summary: YOU WILL LOVE IT! Review: Buy this book and turn immediately to Brenda Jackson's story about Trask and Felicia. I didn't care for the other two stories, but this story is so good, it earns the book five stars on its own! Their story is incredible, so touching, and so down right HOT . . . words just can't express it. I only wished the whole book could've been dedicated to Trask and Felicia. Go out and read it for yourself!

Rating: Summary: I LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT Review: I am not a big romance reader, but this Holiday novella was the bomb. I read it three time this weekend. I just couldn't put it down. Brenda Jackson is a writer in a class all by herself. I just want to talk to her personally. I really really enjoyed all the stories, Ms Jackson just took my breath away. Ladies keep up the good work each story had a special highlight that truly deal with family, emotion, faith and issues of today.

Rating: Summary: Great Holiday stories Review: I was getting this book to read Truly Everlasting which is a great story about two childhood friends that grow up know everything about each other but never dated. A little boys letter to santa brings a Truly Everlasting love. The First Noel what better place to find a good men then at Church. A man that love children and love the Lord you can get any better than that. Kwanzaa Kupendi the love of a good man that believes in you and what let you give up on yourself is wonderful. All three stories were great holiday stories keep up the good work ladies. I look forward to reading more by you all.
Rating: Summary: Delightful Reading Review: SomethingTo Celebrate was excellent collection of holiday stories. I especially enjoyed Felecia's Mason's THE FIRST NOEL.It is a nice warm story about how two single people come together and form a family. Kia has inherted her sisters son Josh and Franklin is a single eligible male and the three meet. I like the wholseome environment of the church setting and the human emotions the couple experienced. It is refreshing to read a story where we have "normal single " peopkle with no baggae ie children or ex spouses coming together.Kia and Franklin fall in love and make a fmaily and Josh become their son. Enjoye the normal interactions and not the ethnic drama we see in many romance novels. A pretty nice simple story that renews our faith in God and Love. Margie Walke's story Kwanaza Kupendi was beautiful story in its own way. Although it discusses issues of depressiona nd suicide it had some realistic aspects to it als. Michelle and Simon do fall in love even though they had not planned it and its story of vulnerabilty and also a helping hand. I could not get through Truly Everlasting too much drama for me.
