Summary: Entertaining, serious, comical, excellent light reading
Review: Being a part of a set myself, I found this book entertaining and witty. Although, it was fiction she touched on the fact that those who look alike and act alike are really not. I recommend this book for those who are twins and are looking for some light reading, that would make you laugh one minute and serious the next.

Summary: Jude Deveraux only getting 4 stars from me?
Review: I have every book that J.D. has written and when I realized I hadn't read these two stories I ran out to buy them. The first story Twin of Ice captivated me, I loved the h/h relationship! I plunged into Twin of Fire and was so disappointed I just couldn't believe it! I think these two books should have been left under separate covers and maybe you should wait some time between the stories so when your reading TOI you aren't left with the feeling of reading the same story twice. It would be a great book if you needing refreshing of the story line, but back to back it was just too much, too repetitive.

Summary: Big dissapointment.
Review: Most of Jude Deveraux's books have been similar in most ways; being that they are relatively short and easy read, extremely entertaining - a natural page turner, humorous and of course, have a couple that are beautifully suited for each other.

However, these two books really dissapointed me. Firstly: Twin of Ice - I could not understand what exactly was appealing about Kane. He really did sound like an idiot, his speech uncultured, and clumsy. In this book, Ms. Deveraux does try to make him appealing in his own bumbling way, but it doesn't work at all. I kept on hoping that Houston, the 'Ice' twin and also the one who went to prestigious finishing schools, would be able to guide him to become a more 'cultured' person - without his horrible speech. But that didn't happen since at the end of the book he still is a clumsy dolt, albeit a clumsy dolt who has a big heart and who loves Houston.

Secondly, the thing that ABSOLUTELY bugged me about these books is how the characters met or started their attraction. Especially Blair and Leander. How can Blair conveniently forget she is 'acting' as Houston AND the fact that she is engaged to someone else, and sleep with Leander? In the heat of the moment because they suddenly connected? Well, anyway, that sparks off the whole story for both twins.

A big dissapointment for me. Twin of Ice was very slightly better than Twin of Fire from the plot point of view. But, there was just no story after the double wedding. I had a hard time getting into the story and it really did drag on, I flipped through it because it was so boring. Pass this one over, it's not worth your time - it's not even romantic.

Summary: What happens to ice when you apply heat?
Review: Shouldn't your fiance set your body on fire. Well not Houston Chandlers, Lee Westfeild. He calls her the "Ice Princess". Houstons afraid there's something wrong with her. She hopes that after the wedding everything will change. Then one day shes at the mercintile and defends Kane Taggert. Kane invites her to see the inside of his house he built. The house that nobody has seen the inside of. Buts its the same night as the ball shes suppose to go with Lee to. She begs here twin sister Blair to go in her place and to pretend she is her. Blair agrees. Then everything changes drastically. Blair sleeps with Lee. And he sets her body on fire.

The twins step father Mr.Gates finds out and tells Lee he will have to make an honest women out of Blair. He will have to marry her. Houston is embarrased after the announcment at church, that Lee westfeild will be marrying Blair instead of Houston.

Kane so badly wants revenge against Jacob Fenton. He builds a house bigger than Jacob's. And he wants to marry a lady. He comes to the rescue of Houston. He asks her to marry him. She agrees. They will have double wedding.

Kane and Houston have different agendas for the marriage. What neither of them expects is to fall in love with each other. Houston can not believe how Kane can melt the "ice princess".

Find out the adventures Kane and Houston go thru to fall in love. JD does a great job with these two. very enjoyable read.
