Review:
The back cover copy for Tell It To the Marine.

The Few. The Proud. The very, very hot. What woman doesn’t love a man in--or out of—uniform? Join one of romances hottest stars; Amy J. Fetzer; as she serves up some f the hunkiest heroes ever to leave boot camp in three stories so deliciously sexy, you’ll want to enlist now….
TELL IT TO THE MARINES

HOT CONFLICT
Rule Number one for ‘How to throw a wedding?” Don’t get kidnapped. Rule number two; Don’t let your rescuer be DJ McAllister, as in tall, dark and secretive with a bod to die for. As in the man who pushed wedding planner Mary Grace Heyward away once and left her heartbroken for, um, well--forever. But now that they're running for their lives (so that’s what it takes to get a man to commit!), the looks DJ’s giving her tell another story. One that makes her very, very warm and Mary Grace's mission is clear; Indulge in the hot Marine’s every fantasy and secure a victory of the ever lasting kind…

HOT LANDING ZONE
The mission went bad, really bad. And Jake Mackenzie blames Dr. Katherine Collier the egghead scientist his team was rescuing from terrorists. If she’d just obeyed his orders they wouldn’t be stranded—alone—on a remote island with way off. But hell, Jake's a Marine. He’ll improvise, adapt and overcome… as lone as the drop-dead gorgeous Katherine stops accidentally setting off his booby traps, prancing around in what’s left of her clothing, and drive him wild with desire. Protecting her is his sworn duty and they lady seem s to have some specific requests in that area……

HOT TARGET
Rick Cahill‘s got his orders; Drop into the Amazon and pick up American Peace Corps volunteer Sam Previn. Who knew Sam was actually Samantha, a beautiful redhead with a temper to match? And who knew the Colombian drug cartels would be after them? On the run in the jungle, searching secluded spots for shelter, Rick has to remind himself that Sam is off limits. No matter how it unhinges him every time her skin brushed his. But when the Savvy Sam starts speaking in military abbreviations and can load a sidearm without looking, its clear she’s something special—and just Rick’s type….

Summary: Each tale is exhilarating
Review: Hot Conflict. In Panama Mary Grace Heyward is hosting the marriage renewal vows of her sister and brother-in-law, the American ambassador to the South American country. However, she is kidnapped leaving it up to US Marine Gunnery Sergeant DJ McAllister to rescue her. DJ once pushed Mary away because he chose their friendship over a potential romance, but this time he has a different planned outcome if they survive.

Hot Loading Zone. In Natuna Bear Island in the East China Sea, Marine Gunnery Sergeant Jake Mackenzie leads a team trying to rescue scientist Dr. Katherine Collier from the terrorist Kali who wants her to give him a deadly formula. The rescue is a success until Katherine hesitates to take her notes so that the terrorists cannot use them. Her action separates Jake and Katherine from the rest of the marines. As he fights to keep her safe, they fall in love, but survival remains the prime priority.

Hot Target. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Rick Cahill is sent into a remote Amazon village to bring home Peace Corps volunteer Sam Pervon only to find he is Samantha. Worried that he must escort a female civilian across the dangerous rainforest with the drug cartel on their tail, Rick and Sam begin to fall in love, but first they must survive.

These three military romantic suspense star alpha marine centerfolds with feisty intelligent and courageous females, capable of normally taking care of themselves. Each tale is exhilarating due to strong lead characters involved in the heated love and the torrid scrambles that salute the troops.

Summary: Definately a keeper!
Review: I'm more of a chick-lit girl, but being a military brat, I saw this book and had to get it. The back cover intrigued me but the stories were what kept me going. Fantastic storylines that are believable and make you want to keep reading. I literally could NOT put this book down - I actually read it in a day. It made me think of all the Marines I know and remember why I love the USMC! The dialogue was right on and it was nice to have male characters that are tough on the outside and romantic on the inside. One that'll get your heart racing and make you thank a Marine for doin' his job! Ooh-rah!

Summary: Not as corny as the cover would have you believe...
Review: On their own, each of these novellas was fairly good. The dialogue was snappy, the heroines had spunk, and the Marines talked like real Marines. Hot Conflict, the first and shortest of the anthology, was a little weak, but Ms. Fetzer hits her stride in Hot Landing Zone. Jake and Kat's dialogue was just fantastic! I think I would rather have seen her expand each story into a full-length novel. The chemistry between the characters is good, but so are the military action scenes, what there are of them. I wish there had been more.

I think collecting these particular novellas together weakened them. Taken together, the similarities between them are more obvious. Ms. Fetzer does a good job at giving each of the Gunnery Sergeants his own distinct voice, but they all seem to share the same tastes when it comes to the bedroom. By the middle of Hot Landing Zone I could predict exactly how the sex would progress in Hot Target. I know romance novels are formulaic, but not that formulaic. But since the the sex was hot, I didn't mind it so much. Just don't read this anthology all in one sitting.

Summary: A True Winner!
Review: This anthology is a winner all the way around. Ms. Fetzer's read was not only fast paced with great action, it also offered exotic locations, and yummy men, and oh yeah...plenty of romance.

This book is actually made up of three short stories. Each story is unique and each hero is alpha and yummy. Oh...and most importantly each guy meets his match.

Ms. Fetzer's read is one that highly recommend each story was very good and this reader could not pick a favorite. Ms. Fetzer has taken the military lifestyle and worked it to her advantage. As a military spouse it was fun to read a book that centered on military men being hero's. For a fast easy read you can't miss out on this book! Kudos Ms. Fetzer and I look forward to reading you again in the future.

Summary: ooh-RAH!!!
Review: Very upbeat, entertaining read!

These Marines are modern-day knights in shining armor--strong, capable, take-charge guys. The heroines are smart, strong, sexy, and witty, too. Crisp, authentic dialogue, good writing, delicious, steamy love scenes. Even some emotional epiphanies by these tough guys with big...uh...hearts.

Gotta' tell you, I read a lot of romance novels, and this is one of my very favorites. It passes my Daydream Test, a measure of just how memorable a romance is based on whether I've, well, daydreamed about the hero after reading it.

If you're looking for a few good men, and a good read, this one's a keeper.
