Summary: Very difficult storyline to get into
Review: I really really wanted to like this book more than I did. But being a retired socialworker, my real world experience could not be turned off. The hero is very cool and so is the heroine, but the storyling they had to work in was a real turn off for me. It is a noble attempt at conscience raising. But I purchased the book to be entertained.

I would recommed instead: "Warrior Soul" by Chuck Pfarrer. His biography of his eight years of being a Navy SEAL. It is a very civilian reader friendly, biography. He is very honest about his private conduct and does not make his book a grenade throwing guy fest.

Summary: This book is a must read
Review: Gennita Low delivers the goods in the goods in her newest story The Protector.

Navy Seal Zola "Jazz" Zeringue and his team are having some down time after their latest mission. He tries to stop the selling of an under age girl for sex but gets caught in the sting by Interpol.

Gem Agent Vivi Verreau releases Jazz after the facts come to light and he is innocent. Vivi intrigues jazz, even more so when she is the leading op on their next mission.

Having a woman as a lead is a new twist on things for Jazz and his team. But Vivi proves she is the right person for the job. The interactions between the guys are priceless, funny and serious at times. It's fascinating to listen to the male mind at work.

Jazz and Vivi are thrown together when something unexpected happens in the trap they set to stop the trafficking of these young girls. Their lives depend on trusting each other and this makes their passion more explosive. Watching Jazz break down Vivi walls one kiss at a time will touch your heart. Their chemistry is sensational.

Gennita Low writes and action packed, emotional, all out sexy book. I could not put this book down once I started. Looking forward to the next book, The Hunter...

Summary: WOW! A Great Romantic Suspense Navy SEAL Book!
Review: Gennita Low turns from CIA/espionage stuff to SEAL action adventure in her new book, The Protector.

The story line is different, though, from the usual SEAL plots. This one is set in Southeast Asia, with a half-Asian heroine.

Cajun-yummy Navy SEAL Jazz Zeringue finds himself in hot water when he tries to rescue a young girl from prostituting herself. Mistaken by Interpol as someone trying to take advantage of a child, he's taken into custody.

Vivi Verreau, the Interpol liaison, believes Jazz to be innocent and sets him free. Things get interesting when Jazz realizes that Vivi isn't just working for Interpol, but is also a GEM operative who will be working closely with his team.

It's fun to see the testosterone fly when eight SEALs are told they have to follow a woman's orders! Gennita Low's male dialogue seems very true to life and at times very amusing.

I really enjoyed the "guy" camaraderie in her story and it's fun to be reunited with Hawk (yum-yum), Cucumber, Dirk and Mink again, as well as several other members of the SEAL team.

If you've enjoyed Ms. Low's other books, I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this one.

Summary: Geniita is now an auto-buy for me!
Review: I had read geniita's first book, Into Danger and found it difficult to decide whether I liked it or not. I know I liked the characters and the capable yet feminine heroines but found the plot rather convoluted. Then I read Facing Fear despite the not-so-positive review ratings and found that I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. So I made up my mind to get hold of The Protector once it hit the stores. Out of curiosity, I decided to check the reviews on a popular romance review site before starting on the book and was put off a bit by the poor rating.

So it was with some reservations that I started on The Protector. Let me tell you the first few pages just blew me away. I was glued to the book from then on and am so glad I did not shy away despite the poor ratings from other sites. The Protector features lots of teamwork which I love, a great mixture of male testosterone and female artistry in your typical action-packed scenes. It was a joy to see strong heroines and sexy heroes in another romantic suspense but without the annoying emotional tug-o-wars that is so prevalent in romance novels. The two protagonists were well-matched and atttractive in every way and the secondary characters were equally riveting. I loved Stefan, one of the secondary characters even though, in his undercover role he wasn't a "nice" gentleman what with his kinky sex scenes but you'll have to see for yourself. This book has lots of action scenes and twists but without the perplexing bits that peppered the first book, Into Danger. While the story sagged a little in the middle, it picked up its pace again and left me, at the last page, with a satisfied smile. It really has been a long time since an action, SEAL romance has made me close the book at the end with such a sigh of satisfaction. Needless to say, I can't wait for the next Gennita Low release.

Summary: Not as good as her earlier 2 books
Review: I seem to be the only person who wasn't impressed with this book. I really, really enjoyed her earlier books, Into Danger and Facing Fear, so I was especially looking forward to The Protector.

I never started liking the two leads, and felt the hero had zippo edge and lost interest quickly. Almost 2/3's into book before any real action started, so barely managed to force myself to finish it.

Hoping the next installment in the series is back on track!

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: Ms. Low has set high standards with her previous books and I'm happy to report that she lives up to them and more! This book is action packed with a strong hero and heroine and a story that sizzles. Not only that but this is also a book that tugs on the heartstrings. There were moments where I had tears in my eyes. This book will touch you in all the right places.

Summary: Awesome once again!
Review: The Protector was the story it promised to be, with intrigue, mystery, and sexual tension. Though it can be read solo, it works best if you have read Ms. Low's two previous novels, Into Danger and Facing Fear. Many of the characters from those books reappear in The Protector and if a reader has knowledge of past conversations and actions the story takes on a deeper meaning.

Jazz in the quintessential Dream Man and Vivi leads him on a merry chase. They work together to take down a sex trade industry. Vivi has an ulterior motive and a deeper drive then anyone realizes. They worm their way into your heart and seem extremely realistic.

Gennita Low did a fantastic job on The Protector. She always delivers wonderful writing and intense plots. Her characters seem to come alive,......and of course the "bedroom" scenes never disappoint. All in all this was a great novel and
I.CAN.NOT.WAIT. for The Hunter to come out!

Summary: A great start....
Review: To a great trilogy. Gennita Low continues writing books that pull the reader in right away. The book is a perfect start to her Crossfire trilogy.

Lt. Jazz Zeringue and GEM operative Viviviene Verreau get thrown together on the same mission, but for different reasons. For Jazz, it's stopping a known terrorist from smuggling weapons. For Vivi, it's stopping the same terrorist from selling women (of all ages) into prostitution against their will.

Vivi has always had a mistrust of soliders and Jazz is determined to find out why at the same time getting past her defenses. Sparks fly between the two while they try to accomplish the mission they are on.

Can't wait for the next one!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Action and adventure.
Review: Trying to save a woman child from at least a night or two of depravity, Jazz gets arrested, only to be saved by Vivi Verreau, a woman with more than one face and many secrets, ones Jazz is determined to learn. This is how he and his men find themselves recruited into Vivi's covert operation to stop a drug cartel in Asia and how Jazz finds himself falling in love with a lady as dangerous as he is.

**** Prepare to board a roller coaster when you start this book. Action and adventure pause only long enough to raise your blood pressure in other ways. Ms. Low is rapidly proving herself a force to be reckoned with in romantic suspense. ****

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Action, Adventure, Explosions and Hot Love Scenes
Review: What more could you ask for from this third-in-the-series action-romance? It's a keeper! Ms. Low has combined fast-moving, high-intesity action scenes, with the sizzling love scenes we've come to expect from her previous books. The men are hot and the heroines are worthy (and visa-a-vis). Add it to your list of "Buy it now's"...you won't be disappointed!
