Summary: Sweet and light read..............
Review: I picked this book after reading the reviews and and I'm so glad I did. Melody Seabright a young so called witch down on her luck, and Shane a delightful 4yr. old who become the best of friends. Logan,Shane's father is a producer for a TV show who hires Melody for a new cooking show and from there fun ensues. I highly recommend this fun light read, and wondering if the sequel will have these three characters as well. Read this book you will definately enjoy it. I also forgot to mention this takes place in Salem, one of the most magical places.

Summary: Cute contemporary debut
Review: Do you believe in magic?

If you don't before reading THE KITCHEN WITCH, you might well believe after reading Annette Blair's first venture into the contemporary romance arena.

This story is pure magic. From a vibrant heroine to a sensual hero and a host of engaging secondary characters, THE KITCHEN WITCH is pretty darn captivating.

Conjure up a quirky, upbeat, intelligent, charming heroine and Melody Seabright is your girl. This endearing character meets her match in reformed-or is he?-bad boy Logan Kilgarven. Together this pair rocks. Melody may or may not be a witch, but she certainly casts a spell over Logan.

Packed with gobs of sexual tension, THE KITCHEN WITCH teases readers with a cleverly written love dance. Ms. Blair's vivid, well-defined characters grabbed my attention from the first page. The often humorous situations the characters find themselves in kept me reading.

Sexy? Most definitely. Fun? Absolutely.

Ms. Blair can spin quite a yarn. Her first contemporary romance is top notch entertainment.

Summary: It is ok
Review: I am not sure what is wrong but lately I have only been reading "ok" books. It is starting to really bug me. This book was not really bad but it was not really good either. It was a cute little story. The little boy in the story is really cute.

So the story is about Logan and Melody. Melody is really funny and strong. She grew up rich but never felt loved by her father or mother. Logan has his funny moments. He grew up poor because of his father and then he got into trouble when he was younger. Now that he has a son, he is trying to give him a secure life and leave the bad boy behind. He moves back to his home town, Salem. His neighbor is Melody whom he thinks is a witch because of how he feels about her. He needs a babysitter one day and gets talked into asking her. He makes a deal with Mel that he will find her a job at the station that he works at if she will watch Shane for him. Mel wants the cooking show even though she can not cook. She of course gets the show because of her sex appeal, and then the story gets going. Mel and Logan end up having to share an office which is kinda funny at moments. Then when the head guy learns she can not cook he wants to fire her but the ticket sales after her show are so great that he gives her another try. She has to learn how to cook so Logan helps after they can not find anyone else. They continue to try to stay away from each other because the attraction is so strong and they think they are wrong for each other. Logan wants a stable, down to earth woman and that is so not Mel. Mel doesn't really want to get married nor have kids. Plus Logan reminds her of her father and she would never be with a man like him.

This story had its funny moments, I never laughed out loud though. I could really see the love Mel had for Shane but I could not see the love for Logan and Mel. It was just lust in my opinion.

OK and THIS really bothered me! I have know idea what Logan was suppose to look like. All I know about him is that he has blue eyes, I think he might have blonde hair and he is tall. WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT!! Maybe that is why I did not like the book as much as others.

But other than that it was a good light read.

Summary: Laughed so hard I cried!
Review: I picked up this book the other day on a whim at the bookstore and loved it.

It is just too funny. I found myself laughing my head off. The contemporary romance is hot too and the story is very cute. It is set in Salem, Mass. A very enjoyable read and the characters are memorable. I would recommend it. A laugh out loud book, I mean I howled and laughed so hard in parts I was crying LOL.
If you want a saucy romance and to feel good then get this one. The book as a whole is awesome!

Summary: bewitching contemporary romance
Review: In Salem, Massachusetts WHCH TV executive producer Logan Kilgarven needs a babysitter to watch over his four year old son Shane; the introverted child was recently dumped on his father by the kid's mother. Desperate, Logan asks neighbor Melody Seabright to baby-sit, but she refuses because she needs to find a job to pay the rent having recently lost her tour guide position for placing a "curse" on a patron. Logan offers Melody an opportunity for an interview with his ice cold boss if she watches Shane; she agrees. Shane and Melody have a great time together as she proves to be a disastrous cook.

To Logan's shock Melody gets the job as host of a cooking show though she cannot boil water without destroying the environment. Even more stunning, her show is a success as her bubbly personality as the "Cooking Witch" becomes very popular to viewers. Even more shocking at least to Logan is that she has charmed both male Kilgarvens who love her and want her magic to charm them forever.

This bewitching contemporary romance is a fine tale that readers will enjoy as Melody is a delightful protagonist who beguiles the three men in her life (the Kilgarven males and her boss at the station) as much as she does the audience. Although Shane is a bit to precocious for a deserted infant, fans will appreciate his antics anyway. THE KITCHEN WITCH is a bewitching fun tale.

Summary: A Spicy, comical romance.
Review: Logan Kilgarven and his four-year-old son, Shane, move to Salem, Massachusetts. (Logan had grown up in Salem as a bad boy until Judge Jessie Harris set him straight.) Logan knows that Salem is the perfect place to raise his son, under the watchful eyes of Jessie (now retired and giving cemetery tours, since Halloween nears) and his mother, Phyllis. Logan has already been hired by the TV station WHCH and is their new executive producer. Everything is looking up as Logan vows to put Shane's welfare above everything else in his life. What Logan did not expect was his sexy downstairs neighbor, rumored witch Melody Seabright.

With absolutely zero notice, Mel agrees to watch Shane so Logan may rush off to his first day of work. In return, Logan got Mel an interview with his boss, Max Peabody, for the star position on a new cooking show. Big problem is that Melody cannot even boil water or crack an egg without a disaster happening. But Melody knows how to play to an audience and becomes Salem's favorite magical cook on the new show "The Kitchen Witch"!

***** Add Tiffany, the station owner's spoiled daughter, into the mix for some spice. Blend with some lovable secondary characters, two playful kittens, and a dash of magic. Then bake the two main characters until they look ready to explode. When it all comes out, you will find this dish to be one hot and hilarious romp, guaranteed to satisfy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! *****

Summary: A delightful sexy fun read!
Review: Melody Seabright is a delight, full of fun and optimisim. She goes from one job disaster to another. She lives in Salam, Ma and her last job as a witch tour announcer ended when one of the tourist accused her of putting a hex on him. It seems most of her jobs have ended in mysterious disasters. It is no wonder her new neighbor, Logan Kilgarvan, thinks she may actually be a witch, his blood seems to get very witchy whenever he is around her. At the least he knows she is flighty and fickle. He certainly doesn't want her around his 4 year old son, Shane.

Logan, is the executive producer for a television station in Salam. Having his 4 year old son dumped in his lap has had a settling effect on him. His girlfriend has decided to move on with her life and she doesn't need a 4 year old to hold her back. Fighting off his own attraction to Mel is hard enough without his son falling for her.

Shane is a delighful 4 year old trying to find his place in a world where his mom has abandoned him to a father he hardly knows.

Mel tries out for a new cooking show at WHCH, although she can't cook. This is a hilarious book full of fun and full of wonderful emotions. Logan is finally the one who must teach her to cook. In the mean time she teaches him a thing or two about love, life, and family.

I loved it!
