Rating: Summary: On the Edge of your Seat Review: Even though I was not a fan of fiction books, this story line just kept me going page after page. It was exciting and you felt you were "right there" with the characters in the book. The depth of Jeff's research really shows up in the book and I would recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed in the least.

Rating: Summary: SO BELIEVEABLE YOU'LL THINK ITS TRUE Review: I am a nurse who has had cancer and I actually received bioengineered medication. So this was too close to home and at times I felt I was reading non-fiction. I felt that I was completely involved in the emotion of the book throughout. I am not an avid reader but I could not put this book down and have recommended it to many. The ending is absolutely fascinating.
I met Jeff at book signing in Lewiston, ID. His enthusiasm for his book was a great asset.
Rating: Summary: An Intelligent Thriller Review: I enjoyed this book. The complex plot held together all the way through and kept my mind engaged. I liked the combination of familiar locations in California interlaced with the exotic Amazon. Unlike more typical thrillers, this one doesn't lock on to a couple of central characters early on, but instead gives depth to many characters which makes for a more satisfying read.
Rating: Summary: Scary Plot with Solid Writing Review: It's tough to come up with a fresh idea in the world of biotech thrillers, but this author sets up an intriguing premise and pulls the parts together nicely. The science appears to be well researched and some of the jungle attack sequences are downright creepy. A few of the key characters drifted into predictable stereotypes, and I prefer a more clearly defined protagonist, but I've read worse on national bestseller lists. Overall I'd rate it a strong freshman effort and Copeland's next book will smooth out the rough edges and his talent will shine.

Rating: Summary: An engrossing thriller. Review: Paralysis is a gripping and smart story that had me engrossed from the beginning. I could not put it down. It entertains, educates and makes you think. The pace is fast and keeps you rivited with the suspense, intrigue and compelling characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope there is more to come from the author.
Rating: Summary: No Place Left to Hide! Review: Paralysis is a tightly woven suspense novel that grips readers with the current dilemma: There's no place left to hide! From the deep Amazon jungles to San Cabo and Los Angeles, the insidious virus and those who would use it for power are there. As we begin to know the characters and care for them, they are taken from us one-by-one. Who will survive? You have to read the book for the unexpected twist at the end. Ariele M. Huff, Senior Editor American Road magazine, columnist and book reviewer, college English and Writing educator.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!! Review: The storyline is completely engrossing, the characters imaginitive & complex. I am not an avid reader and I could just not put this one down! This novel has the makings of the next great trilogy. Intriguing as only a Star Wars, Indiana Jones or Lord of the Rings can be. I hope to one day see the movie!
