Review: When it comes to the American novel of the "sawth" with women drawling out their best dialog, quips, and wisdom, this funny little novel has more storytelling power, plot, and dialog than most, and doesn't let its gals (2 white, 1 black)turn into stereotypes. It's as good, if not better than fried green tomatoes with the Ya Ya's, and both of those books are something wonderful indeed in their own right.
