Summary: superb mythological romance
Review: Comparative Mythology Professor Maggi Sanger comes home to find someone broke into her home searching for something. Since she collects statues of ancient goddesses and is a Grailkeeper like her ancestors, she knows what the felon sought. While the police interview Maggi, her former boyfriend Alexander "Lex" Rothschild Stuart III arrives filled with concern for her.

The unknown assailant assaults Maggi's Aunt Bridge, landing her in the hospital. Maggi realizes that for some unknown reason this goon wants to destroy the Grails. As the Grailkeeper, she must risk her life to keep her charges safe. However, she knows she needs help and Lex is willing, but can she trust him when he already hurt her and he could easily be the one behind the attacks.

This enjoyable romantic suspense makes believers out of readers that the mythos of a pantheon of Goddesses exists. The story line is action-packed and filled with suspense on several levels besides the obvious cat and mouse game with the grail destroyer. Readers will wonder whether Maggi will ask Lex to help and, if yes, will he ultimately betray her. Should she choose an alternate hunk Rhys, who seems to desire her as much as Lex has without the dark secrets? In any case fans will appreciate this superb mythological romance.

Review: I don't know what to say...This is a great book! I coulnd't put it down! I loved the Goddess grail and Holy grail story lines. I really hope Ms. Vaughn continues to write many more of these Goddess Grail books. P.S. You don't have to be a fan of Silhouette books to like this book. I only picked it up because of the title and I'm familar w/Ms. Vaughn's other works!

Summary: Indiania Jones Would Envy This Adventure
Review: In A.K.A. Goddess, our heroine, Maggi Sanger, seeks to find the legendary grails of mythical goddesses. Her personal and professional interest intensifies when her notes are stolen and her great-aunt assaulted in Paris. What happens next is a tense archaelogical adventure Indiana Jones would envy -- a quest for ancient artifacts, warring secret societies, regal bloodlines, car chases, and near-death situations.

Populated with charming secondary characters, A.K.A. Goddess also has an engaging love story between Maggi and her childhood-to-college sweetheart, Lex Stuart, privileged and wealthy beyond imagination, honorable and yet not quite trustworthy. It's a testament to Vaughn's character development and storytelling skills when one isn't sure if the hero is a bad guy, right up until the last ten pages.

A.K.A. Goddess is part of a longer series called The Grail Keepers, which place Maggi and her friends on added quests for more goddess grails. The next book is due out in November, and I'm definitely adding it to my Bombshell collection.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: This book is complex, funny and sexy; entertaining without being banal. Evelyn Vaughn/Yvonne Jocks writes touching and thoughtful books. Maggi reminds me of a more modern Elizabeth Peters heroine. More, more!
