Review: This was a story worth reading, not a lot of romance but it was good. Brynn a beautiful widow whose only concern is that for her young daughter,'Angel' who after witnessing the murder of her father was so traumatized that she quit speaking. After Brynn moves in with her father-in-law, Angel sees and is drawn to the handsome man next door. Gideon, a loner with a past he would rather forget is also drawn to the silent little girl, but he can't ignore the way his heart rate increaases whenever he is around the mother. Dominic, the father in law, to say the least does not want Brynn or Angel to have a relationship with Gideon. This is a story more of healing, starting over, and putting the past behind you. It is a touching story that you will enjoy to the last page.
