Summary: For readers that love teddy bears and children.....
Review: Whitney Bloom owns a specialty gift shop, full of delightful teddy bears. Having been abandoned by her mother at an early age, Whitney's grandmother bought her first teddy bear to help comfort her. Now Whitney brings comfort and joy to her customers with her charming teddy bear collection. Whitney is surprised when Logan Monroe, the boy of her high school dreams, steps into her store searching for a special teddy bear for his foster daughter.

Almost a year after the sudden death of his wife, Logan is afraid he is about to lose custody of their six-year-old foster daughter, Amanda. Having lost her mother and her favorite bear, Amanda's pain is breaking Logan's heart. At least with Whitney's help he can replace the bear. What he also needs is a wife, so he can continue with the adoption. Maybe Whitney could help him there also?

MARRYING FOR MOM brings together three people that need to be a family. Whitney has admired and loved Logan from afar since high school. When she finds she can help Logan, she puts all of her insecurities of being abandoned again behind her, to be the best wife and mother she can be. Whitney has always amazed Logan, though she has had so little, she is a very giving woman.

Ms. Talcott has written a fast paced, heartwarming story. Even with the much used plot of a father needing to keep custody of his child, this book was well written and the character likable. I enjoyed how Ms. Talcott gave Logan a cheeky sense of humor, adding sparkle to the dialogue.
