Summary: A fresh look at a favorite premise
Review: Amnesia. Mistrust. A husband and wife finding each other--and themselves--again or for the first time. All are common themes in today's romance, and risk being overdone. But Karen Rose Smith's obvious enthusiasm for the traditional and her extraordinary talent make this book a true keeper.

Jenny is a strong heroine who thrives despite the uncertainty amnesia brings. And it is always satisfying to watch a hero acknowledge his own shortcomings, and grow past them. Ms. Smith is a master.

Summary: Love conquers all--even amnesia!
Review: Memories of falling in love can sometimes help couples though rocky times in their relationships. But a car accident has left Christopher Langston's wife with amnesia. It couldn't have happened at a worse time; their marriage is on extremely shaky ground. Now, with Jenny struggling to piece her life together and wondering how she could have forgotten a powerful, intriguing man like Christopher...and Christopher angry and suspicious of what--or who--had taken Jenny away the night of her accident, finding their way back to each other is a study in frustration. But is this marriage worth the effort it will take to save it? Or is it already too late?

Brimming with the deep emotions, sexual tension and strong characters that readers have come to expect from a Karen Rose Smith novel, WEALTH, POWER AND A PROPER WIFE is truly one of her best. A great start to her Do You Take This Stranger series!
