Summary: Warm romance from Small town America
Review: Leanna Wilson makes small-town America seem like paradise. While Wilson adopts many romance hooks (rodeo cowboy, single dad, secret baby, pregnant heroine), she makes them her own.

Joy Chase is pregnant after a one-night stand with Sam McCall. Now Sam has moved into town with his daughter. When he sees Joy and learns he is the father to be, he wants to make Joy and the new baby a part of the family he's always wanted but never had. The only problem is, he won't let himself love another woman. He's done that before and knows the price is too high.

When Joy turns him down (she's holding out for love), Sam set about convincing her. It isn't long before Joy is convinced she loves Sam, but that only makes things worse. She can raise a child on her own and will before she sacrifices herself to a loveless marriage.

Wilson is a fine addition to the Harlequin American line.
