Rating: Summary: Hot book--great writing Review: Angela Capria wants a steady, boring man--but her friends know better. They hook her up with a dark dangerous, sexy type. Vic Steadman can play dangerous and he's definitely sexy. But when Angela finds out he is a regular guy, is he out of there?Kara Lennox is an exciting fresh voice for Harlequin American. This is the hottest American I've read in years, but it still preserves the family and friends that make American distinct. I'm looking forward to more Kara Lennox titles.

Rating: Summary: Hot Review: Harlequin American has never been so sexy. New voice Kara Lennox has created a sexy romp. Vic Steadman (just a little symbolism in the name) may be steady, but he can be a bad boy as well--just the man beautiful virgin Angela Capria is looking for. Believe me, she's no angel--although Vic may think she is. It's a fun romance with just enough friends and family to make it real, but with the real fireworks reserved for the main characters.

Rating: Summary: From the author: Review: Hi! Virgin Promise is Kara Lennox's debut novel. But what manyof you might not know is that Kara's real name is Karen Leabo, who haswritten 30 books for Silhouette and Bantam Loveswept. Why the name change? Because the publisher wanted to "reinvent" me, and I agreed. Sometimes it's tedious being the same old author all the time. Virgin Promise is about a 26-year-old virgin, Angela Capria, who has never been "swept away" until she meets dark, dangerous Vic Steadman. He sets out to thoroughly seduce her, which is fine by her--until she discovers her well-meaning friends set her up. Is Vic no more than a gigolo, then? I hope you enjoy Kara's first book, and those to come in the future. Two more are scheduled, for December 2000 and April 2001. If you like Virgin Promise, please watch for these next two. And if you've read this far, thanks! END
Rating: Summary: A delightful book! Review: Kara Lennox has given us a wonderful story for her first Harlequin American--a dark, gorgeous hero sweeps a down-to-earth heroine right off her feet--and into his bed. Or was that onto a rooftop? This book is a bit sexier than most Harlequin Americans. I loved the interaction between the hero and heroine, who just couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other. I'm looking forward to Kara's next book!
