Review: Simple Words ( Harlequin American Romance No.271)

by Modean Moon

Changes... Victoria Tankersley had experienced too many in her
lifetime. She now wanted to run the ranch, work the land, feel
the earth between her fingers, enjoy the clear blue sky on a
brisk winter's morning and to finally settle down to teach the
fresh-faced, eager students of Hillsboro, Oklahoma.

But she wasn't destined to dust off her saddle and live a life
of normalcy -- not yet anyway. Phil Wilcox, well-respected
lawyer and cattleman, was a sure indication of that. Nine
years ago he had changed the course of her life and that of
her father's. And he was now determined to do it again, but
this time there was much more at stake.
