Rating: Summary: Delightful romance Review: "Always a Hero" is a beautiful, hearwarming story by my favorite Harlequin author, Vivian Leiber. As in all romance novels, the plot is slightly contrived and far-fetched; however, Lieber makes the story believeable. Kate Lodge, the heroine of the story, is a vivacious redhead who has been patiently waiting for fiancee, who has been serving overseas. Kate Lodge has endearing qualities and responsibilities that model those of modern women. She takes care of her family as well as the parents of her fiancee, as well as being a role model in her small town. However, Kate's chance at happiness is destroyed when Lieutenant Kyle Reeves brings a letter from her fiancee saying that he can no longer marry her. Will Kate risk has stable life to find true love, or is she destined to be an old maid???? I suggest you read to find out!
