Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Super Romance, but Look Out for the Frog!
Review: When TV reporter Laini Moran came home to Sycamore Point, Indiana to settle her brother's affairs, she hadn't counted on the Irish-Mexican-American boy named Murphy Gonzalas her brother had been in the process of adopting at the time of his death. She hadn't counted on D.J. Boone, her brother's best friend either, who like her brother was one of the best investigative reporters in the business.

Recently Glen had supposedly left the world of reporting to come home to run a small newspaper called N.P.A.S. (Nostalgia, Pure and Simple), however it appears that he mysteriously bought a drug dealer's plane and got himself killed in it and the DEA wants to know why. On top of that Murphy wants Laini to Marry D.J. and adopt him. However the last thing Laini wants is to be tied down in small town Sycamore Point. She may have grown up there, but she was a big city girl now.

But, she grows to love Murphy, D.J. as well. However all is not right in Sycamore Point. There are drug dealers afoot. A DEA agent who tears apart Glen's house and a mysterious computer disc, not to mention a rogue bullfrog in this excellent romance that borders closely on romantic suspense. I had a good time with this book, loved Laini, loved D.J. too, adored Murphy and I even kind of liked the frog. Ms. McElfresh has written a wonderful story that I think you'll just love, as I did.
