Summary: I really liked this book!
Review: I'm a big fan of Kimberly Cates and love all her historicals. I stumbled upon this accidently at the used bookstore and was surprised to see that she'd also written some contemporaries. Even though J.T. James and Allison Crawford lived in different worlds, they still shared alot of the same dreams and desires for the future. J.T. was such a wonderful, strong and sexy hero I fell in love with him too! The idea of such a man operating an inner city home for runaways was unique. Both characters showed a great deal of compassion for each other and for the children they helped. I really hope Kimberly Cates writes some more of these wonderful modern day stories! I would also recommend "The Wishing Tree" as well as all the historicals by this author.
