Rating: Summary: Storyline Review: After she was relocated by the Government Witness Relocation Program, Lainie Hall's life was threatened, and the FBI put Jake Callahan on her case. Suddenly Lainie didn't know what was the greater danger: losing her life or falling in love.
Rating: Summary: Night Heat, one of my favorite books! Review: Night heat is a very good romance, centering around a woman in the witness protection program. Amanda Howe/Lanie Hall. The book is set around the Christmas season, beginning with Lainie thinking that the mobster she testified against has found her. Jake is the hero, believing that Lainie has been in contact with the mobster, that she is still in love with him. I can't say enough about this book, it really is wonderful. The love story between these two is phenominal. Both are reluctant to fall in love, believing the worst of each other. You won't regret buying this book and adding it to your keeper shelf.
