Review: I'm reading The Conditions of Grace for the second time. L.A. McRae writes in a way that just pulls you right into the book. The characters become friends and enemies. I laughed when they laughed and I cried when they cried. I am very emotionally attached to this book and the wonderful charaters in it. This definitely one of my very favorite books because of how it pulls at my emotions in a way that only L.A. McRae can do. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about loves lost and loves won and the journey it takes to get there.

Review: L. A. McRae is an author who can tug at your heartstrings without being too sappy. The Conditions of Grace captivated me from the moment I started to read it. The author has done an excellent job of developing the characters. I was able to experience every emotion right along with Grace. She became a real person to me and I felt her struggles and triumphs, her heartbreak and joy. I was torn between two brothers just as she was. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, the author surprised me with a new twist. I finished the book with an awesome feeling of contentment. Not only is this a great love story, but it also is a wonderful lesson in finding purpose in pain. I look forward to seeing more of L. A. McRae's work.
