Rating: Summary: Anything can happen in the Arizona Territory.... Review: All her life everybody has been telling Cady Tanner what to do. From her parents to her overprotective brothers everyone thinks they know what is best for her. So after going back to school she heads out to the Arizona Territory to teach and finds the man she shared an intoxicating kiss with two years ago but was harshly rejected. Captain Kane Carrington sent Cady away two years ago knowing he couldn't bear to lose her. Army life and the Arizona territory are no place for a woman, or so he kept saying. Everytime he tries to push her, Cady keeps pushing right back. Afraid that Cady will turn to be like his dead wife, who cheated on him, Kane isn't sure he should trust his feelings. Cady set out to prove him and her family wrong. Out in the hot, dangerous desert Cady has to learn how to survive and how to make Kane realize their destiny together. Teresa Southwick writes a poignant tale to two people meant to be. My only complaints are that it ended much too soon and I would have liked an epilogue. But this is still a great book and I would recommend it to anyone if you can find it.
Rating: Summary: VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR A FIRST TIME ROMANCE READER Review: I HAVE RECENTLY FINISHED THREE OF MS. SOUTHWICK'S BOOKS AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT THEY ARE FAST READING, INTERESTING AS THAT I HAVE CHILDEREN THAT I CAN RELATE PARTS OF THESE STORIES TO. I AM GETTING AN INTERESTING PERSPECTIVE AS TO ANOTHER VIEW THAT PERHAPS I MISSED ABOUT MY OWN CHILDREN. ONE NOW MARRIED WITH ONE CHILD AND ANOTHER SOON COMING. MS SOUTHWICK HAS OPENED A MAN'S EYE TO SOME SURPRISING SITUATIONS THAT I HAVE NEVER DISCOVERED. I THANK YOU MS. SOUTHWICK FOR OPENING MY EYES. I AM READER OF APPROXIATELY 24 NOVELS ANNUALLY. SO WHEN I SAY THAT READING A ROMANCE NOVEL WAS AT FIRST A BIT UNUSUAL FOR ME AS I NORMANLY READ MEDICAL, POLICE, AND SPY THILLERS. AGAIN, I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I WILL NOW CHECK THE TOPICS OF MS. SOUTHWICK'S BOOKS AS THEY COME OUT. VERY IMPRESSED. RICHARD NISGORE
