Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best Love Saga Ever!! Review: As a teenager growing up at a Christian school, I find books are hard to find in the school libary, because of careful screening by the school broad. The books they choose are rather boring. But when I picked up the copy of Strieker's bride I was so intregied. This book is so wonderful!! The continuing books are wonderful seguels too.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exciting, subtle, and sweet story of a divine romance! Review: I read this book, and found it powerfully compelling. It presents a suprising offer of marriage from a mysterious
young billionaire to a cheerful, bright young woman who
works as a teller in one of his banks. The billionaire
wants to marry her, and says he knows all about her, and
loves her. But she must decide whether to marry him before she can see his face!
This story works remarkably well on two levels, first, as
a very sensible yet sensitive woman of today ponders her choice, and second, as a vivid allegory for the real and personal love of Christ for His Church. As I read this, I found myself caught by both levels, and fascinated by the intricate interweaving.
I heartilly recommend this, both to non-Christians who may have a vague or distant view of the love of God, and also
to Christians who may have a reaction to God as a harsh, demanding taskmaster, instead of a tender, passionate lover.

Once I started, I began to love the characters and the plot. After reading it through a second time, I've decided that this is one of my most favorite books, and I'm glad to learn that there are more in the series.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A great book chosen at random...read it!! Review: I was scanning a huge bookstore, searching for bargains...and there it was. Streiker's Bride. I had never heard of it before, but when i read the synopsis on the back, I was intrigued...and it was clearanced! Immediately I began to read it and was pulled into the character Adair...the story begins leaving you wondering what will happen next and it remains that way throughout the entire story. 12:30 in the morning and well into the book, I found I could not put it down (and bookreading at night usually puts me to sleep!). I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning! I am currently looking for the other books in this great saga. This is a MUST read!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: gets better every time Review: I've recently finished reading this book for probably the third or fourth time. the allegory is amazingly steady, the characters always holding true to their assumed parallels. robin hardy wrote it so honestly and realistically, but still putting her "I can't believe that happened!" flare. I still got emotional at parts, even though I knew what was going to happen. it's like this with every hardy novel, where it's great the first time, wonderful the next, and astounding the third. there's just so much to get out of it!!!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Christian Adults: 3 great gifts for romantic teen girls Review: This book covers the ultra-romantic yet chaste courtship (what a concept!) that ends in marriage, but is spiced with enough danger and soul-searching to make it a "flashlight under the covers" story. And underpinning the fun is a beautiful allegory of how God is also an ardent lover who courts each one of us. My eldest is pushing the ripe old age of 22 and has just pulled this and its sequel off the shelf for another good read through and is hinting loudly to get the third one for her birthday. My only question is ... should I read it (neatly!) before I give it to her or wait and hope she'll lend it back when she's done? :o)
