Rating: Summary: My first romance! Review: Dear fellow romance lovers, (sister romance lovers?)This is my first book! My baby! I'm just falling all over myself with maternal pride. Showing off my country's dazzling sunshine, glorious beaches and entrancing scenery was not the only reason I enjoyed writing Night Heat and setting it in Trinidad. I really wanted the relationship between Marcus and Rhea to work out, because I thought they were such good people. Marcus without being, well, you know... Rhea is a lot like me in that she loves her island and would do anything to defend it. She also has a lot of heart; her love for Marcus and his young daughter were enough to sustain her through the many storms she has to face. Night Heat was fun to write. If you think it was fun to read, please let me know. (And, if you are so inclined, a good review right here (ahem) wouldn't hurt, either! Thanks, Simona P.S. Rating: Summary: I absolutely loved this book!!! Review: I brought this book during the summer and absolutely loved it !!! The relationship between Rhea and Marcus was intense. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was because Marcus attempted to leave her after they had sex for the first time.
Rating: Summary: I absolutely loved this book!!! Review: I took this book on a two day vacation and hardly put it down long enough to enjoy the lake. Sparks start flying as soon as tour group leader, Rhea De Silva, meets her client, Marcus Lucien. The author, Simona Taylor, creates a handsome, decent, wonderful character in Marcus, and if things didn't work out soon between him and Rhea I was moving in. In addition to the romantic tension, Rhea's group is put in serious jeopardy, especially Marcus' young daughter, whom Rhea adores. Taylor satisfies on several levels with her vivid descriptions of exotic Trinidad and the confliction Rhea feels over the desire to conserve the island's environment without negatively impacting tourism. Besides being engrossingly entertained, I came away feeling like I had learned something and gained a new familiarity with a place I knew nothing about. This book is a well-written page turner that I would recommend to anyone.

Rating: Summary: Tour guide finds hope for love amid disaster. Review: Rhea de Silva, independent tour guide considers herself capable of handling any and all emergencies. She was able to live up to this reputation until the day her boss reassigned her to a different group of tourists than she had previously studied about. From the moment she received the unexpected assignment, everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong. It was only when Marcus, one of her tourists, pushed his plate away that she learned he was a vegetarian. Night Heat is a beautiful, sensitive, well-written story. Rhea becomes friends with Marcus and his daughter, and all three subsequently feel . However, Jodell disappears, and Rhea and Marcus must separate. The author of this first novel shows great talent and promise.
Rating: Summary: Island Passion!!! Review: Since, I'm a native of Trinidad and Tobago, this gives me an opportunity to comment on how the writer portrayed my country. I must say, that the writer was very objective about what she wrote about Trinidad. She took no sides and did not want to be bias. This was appreciated. However, I wish the the beginning of the tour had started off a little smoother. Now, about Rhea and Marcus ..... this was a thrilling relationship from the start. Nevertheless, if Marcus admitted his feelings for Rhea sooner this would have turned out to be the most exciting and blissful union, I ever read about.Trinidad was truly a romantic setting for Marcus and Rhea , but I truly think that the Author should have thrown them together more often and also allowed them to visit other places on the Island, and even get a taste of the interesting Night Life,(Night Heat). Nevertheless, the book was indeed interesting and the relationship between Marcus and Rhea was a very unique one.
Rating: Summary: Island Heat Review: The story of Rhea and Marcus was very romantic in a love/fight type of way. Another classic 'I am going to deny my love for you, but you are my heart' type of love stories. For two people who have an undeniable attraction to each other and still will not acknowledge it, Rhea and Marcus did a very go job of it, I must say. But one always falls to the hands of love. Both must overcome some demons in order to be happy and in love togther!!
