Rating: Summary: Characters of this book are dwelling on the past Review: Dorinda Faye is known as the family Worry Wart, while her twin is the one that the family thinks "can do no wrong". When Dorinda's twin gets married, Dorinda is faced with many of her old beaus, one in particular that she can't get out of her head... Matt. Dorinda is so caught up in the past. Back when Dorinda and Matt were in high school they were in love and Matt (being a typical high school male) falls in love with another girl and Dorinda is crushed for life. Now it's like 10 - 12 years later and she is still harboring feelings of insecurity over that failed relationship. It's up to Matt to show Dorinda that they can build new memories and let the past go.The more I kept reading this book, the more I kept wishing it would be over with. Dorinda could not forgive Matt for dumping her in high school and blamed him for every failed relationship she had after him. I wanted to jump through the pages of the book and strangle Dorinda for her twisted views. I mean it was high school. If you are in your thirties and you think about your high school years... well there is no comparison. We all have done childish, immature, juvenile things when it comes to love when we were in our teens, but that's what being young is all about. I just felt that Dorinda needed to grow up and stop blaming everybody else for her problems. I wanted to read more about what Matt had been doing since high school to get a better idea of what made him realize that after 10 years, he wanted Dorinda back.
