Summary: The Itch
Review: This book is entertaining. This is a book that keeps you wanting to know what is next. After reading Good Hair, I ran out and bought The Itch. I hope Benilde's next book is as good as Good Hair and The Itch. I would recommend this book to others, but I would hope they read Good Hair first. The characters in this book were very interesting. I was happy to see Sherry and Miles in the book, it was like the continuation of Good Hair. All in all I did like this book and would read more from Benilde Little.

Summary: TYPICAL!
Review: I enjoyed this book as an easy read, and it was like reading a tabloid. It was ashame that it involved infidelity and lack of commitment with black people. When are we going to have an author put our successful black professionals into a good light. I can understand that if they do that, the book would probably be boring, but that is what creativity will do, make us want to read more about successful people that reflect ourselves instead reflecting all of society. It was entertaining.

Summary: Character Development is Totally Lacking
Review: After I read this book, I didn't feel that I knew the characters at all. Why did any of the characters do what they did? I left the book not knowing. Nor did I get a feel for the real Buppy lifestyle that the book was to tell us about. Ms. Little should keep trying, but read the book before it goes to press!

Summary: This was a wonderful book!

Summary: You Go Girl!! This book was excellent!!!
Review: I absolutely loved this book!!!! The friendship between Tasha and Abra was so realistic and authentic. Cullen was a jerk and he deserved everything that he got. I wish that Abra would have explored the interracial relationship a little more. Miles was a typical player who thought he was ready!!! But as usual he wasn't. The characters were so warm and true. I could relate to Abra alot!!! She truly was a shining star and I think that she had the last laugh in the end!!! Excellent book, Ms. Little!!!!

Review: Didn't bowl me over like Good Hair, but yeah, I dug The Itch

Summary: The book was engrossing
Review: I read the book in one day. Benilde did a good job describing the characters. Abra and Natasha's friendship was very realistic. The author did a wonderful job describing the problems facing the characters and she also did a good job addressing those problems without becoming "how-to"-ish.

I like how Abra evolves in the novel. It is a definite page turner and quite enjoyable.

Summary: A GREAT FOLLOW UP TO "GOOD HAIR"!!!!!
Review: I REALLY enjoyed this book and recommend it highly! I read the book in one day because it was so good and I didn't want to put it down. It's very good reading for women. Abra-"cadabra" is a great character, and as always in Benilde Little's novels, you WON'T be dissapointed in the novel's end!

Summary: Not as great as Good Hair but really good
Review: I enjoyed this book. It brought up a lot of important issues that were barely uncovered. But like me, you have probably thought about them indepth on your own. I read the book in one weekend because I was so interested in the lifes of the characters. I was looking for a more hopeful ending but it was real. I'm sure my life is going in the same direction as a female investment banker.

Summary: A silent storm that takes you there!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. My book club read Good Hair and felt it was lukewarm but this was a fascinating story. I felt that the characters were well developed and sister did her homework. The sex scenes were so hot you felt like you were there. I enjoy a story where the characters grow. I think that everyone in the book learned something about themselves. I commend Benilde on this profound read. Her finger is on the pulse on the black upper crust. I am now a fan for life!! I'm fellin you sista!
