Summary: the best book i have read as a young one
Review: For a long time, I have enjoyed romance fiction. Recently, I've developed an interest in historical subjects, and Jean Burr Bradley's Shamrock Green brought these two loves together. Her characters are real and vivid, and the plot moves rapidly. There is never a lull in the novel. I was so involved in the story until I felt like I was walking along the streets in New Orleans with a voodoo curse plaguing me and powerful men trying to run me out of town. But my knight in shining armor comes to my rescue willing to put his station in life and wealth on the line for a beautiful servant girl. I highly recommend this book.
