Summary: Entertaining - Fast Read
Review: Enjoyed the character development in this book. All three women had grown, spiritually and emotionally by the end of the book. The book had some important messages for all women - whether you were single, young, divorced, and/or care-free. It's not your typical - "all men are dogs book," or "woman desperately seeking a man" book. Keep writing Hunter!

Summary: you'll be hooked
Review: From the middle to the end of the book, i couldn't sit the book down. i read it in two days. you'll love how Leslie handles the relatives during Thanksgiving when she brings her older boyfriend to the house. At first i thought Leslie was a little too tough, but that's the type of woman that it would take to handle the complex situation of infidelity. I'm looking forward to your next book, Hayes.

Summary: A year in the life of Leslie
Review: I almost thought I was reading a journal of the year that Leslie lost her virginity. I am not sure where the story was supposed to be going. Leslie seemed to have it going on - 21, a virgin, going to college, managing an apartment building. She meets Benjamin and falls hard for him. Only one problem, he lives with his son and another woman. Then there is Rachelle. She is Leslie's cousin. 35, 3 children, employed, a few too many men. Rachelle made some life changes. She went to school, started going to church and basically got her life together.Leslie and Rachelle changed roles somewhere in the middle of the book. Rachelle became more like the old Leslie and vice versa. THis book had 2 very funny parts where I actually laughed out loud, but other than that, I was just like reading someone's diary.

Summary: Give the sister a break!
Review: I also found many typos, characters misplaced, and at the end of the novel events do not follow a chronological order. Inspite of these errors I found the book quite enjoyable. If you visit Hunter Hayes' Web page stoneedgepress.com, you will see that see openly admits to an error she made in not having the book proof read and edited. When someone openly admits to errors we should be more than willing to help and not condemn them. Buy the book, overlook the errors and ENJOY!

Summary: Okay... minus the errors
Review: I can't begin to list all of the errors/problems within this book. The author has potential but where was the editor? This book read more like a 15-year-old's diary than the highly-acclaimed novel it stated to be.

Hopefully, the author will spend more time developing her next work.

Summary: The ex-wife name changed from Gloria to Sonia
Review: I enjoyed reading the book and could not put it down. The only problem I had was trying to keep up with Benjamin's ex-wife's name. He would say Gloria and then he would say Sonia. Look at page 226(in the paperback) and he will mention Gloria, but on page 228 he says Sonia. Then the sister-in-law calls Sonia on the phone. You had me believing he had to ex-wife's, instead of one. The book was great reading material and I really enjoyed reading it. Can not wait for your second novel.

Summary: Shoe's on the Otha Foot
Review: I found Shoe's on the Otha Foot to be a quick, easy to read book. The story line held my attention. No, this one isn't a pager turner but it will hold your attention. Leslie is a twenty one year old virgin, who has a weakness for a much older man Benjamin. The only problem is that Benjamin lives with his ex-wife and their son. Rachelle counsin of Leslie has a few problems herself, single with three children and one too many men in her life. This was an enjoyable read. Hunter Hayes, this is a good first attempt but there is room for improvement. I wish you much success. Be Blessed.

Summary: A good read!!
Review: I got our Public Library to buy this book (so I could read it of course), and I enjoyed it. Yes, there were grammatical errors, but not as bad as some of these other self-published works out there. At first, it dragged, but as you get into it, it is really good. I really liked the young lady in the story who was careful to give her jewels to the wrong kind of man, and when she did give it to someone she thought was genuine, she still learned her lesson, and moved on. Her cousin made me proud by going to church. I liked that. Support out authors folks, and give them the feedback they need so they won't do the same mistakes again.

Summary: Wake Up Call For Women
Review: I think that this book was a reality check to alot of women who get so caught up into men, and trying so hard to please them when in actuality you are not happy with yourself. The main character Leslie in this book was with a man who still lived with his wife and child, yet he claimed that they were not together. HE so called loved her but there is no way that a altermatum was the only way that he would decide to leave his wife. I am so glad that at the end she decided not to continue a relationship with someone who was not sure of themselves and what they wanted to be in a relationship. I most definitely dedicate this book to a close friend of mine who lets men decide her happiness.
