Summary: Janette Oke stirs the soul
Review: This series is a timeless series that captures the heart and doesn't let go. I have read the entire series repeatedly. Ms. Oke has a way of drawing you into the lives of her characters to the point where you feel a part of them. This series, like most of Ms. Oke's work, will make you laugh and cry. She can make you rejoice with the Davis' family and break your heart for them. The story of the Davis family were the first Oke books I read and they will always be my absolute favorite!

Review: This series is wonderfully written. While reading I feel as though I am standing on the hill looking into the valley that is being written about, or in the room as part of the family. I have grown to love the characters! The series is truely refreshing to read.

Review: We have both read all of this series of books. We loved them. This was our first christian romance books and over ten years later we are still hooked. We enjoy several different authors now. We are now going to re-read the stories of Marty. They are great story lines that get you involed in these peoples lives, you can't wait to read the next book. Review: With their faith in God, the characters show tremendous strength and courage in a story line that will capture you! If you like the "Little House" series, I can assure you, you will like this one better! I find it difficult to put the books down.
