Review: I am an avid Romance novel reader and for RJ's first book she did a great job. She did such a good job with her characters that I felt they could be real people. In fact, it was a breath of fresh air that the characters didn't have intimate relations every time they got near each other. Refreshing.

Summary: Aaahhh, Romance!
Review: I really enjoyed A Bet Worth Taking because it brings out the romance in me. R.J. McCall is very descriptive in her writing. I felt like I could picture every location and what all the characters looked like. She makes each person come alive. At times I felt like the Cindy character wanting to shake both Holt and Shelby! To me, that makes a good book - if you can relate to the people in the story. The dialogue is every day language - some of the things I know I have said before! Try the book - you'll be glad you did. I was hooked from the beginning.
