Summary: Something Wonderful
Review: That's what Kate Rothwell's debut novel is. Her characters are wonderfully original, as is her setting. And combined, they create a wonderful story about two people from different ends of the spectrum brought together by circumstance. But they're kept together by a passion that sparks in Mick's dingy little apartment, and fuels a fire in each of them until they're certain they're where they should be - with each other.
Definitely a keeper!

Review: This was a book I stayed up through the night to read. Ms. Rothwell's characters pulled me right into the story and kept me guessing.
I love the wide cast of characters- loved both the old New York setting and the more rustic Minnesota setting. Ms. Rothwell painted so well that I could see and feel everything around the characters as though I were there myself.I can only hope Ms Rothwell intends to give Timona's brooding brother his own story. Even after I was sighing over the happy ending between Timona and Mick, I found myself wondering what Griffin's own adventure would be...

Summary: a gentle sweet romance
Review: This was such a gentle romance. The setting was different, in late 1800's USA, in New York. The hero was a simple Irish - straight from Eire - policeman. The period was very exactly portrayed. And the characters engaging. I will look forward to her next book coming out, Somebody to Love.
