Review: This is by far the most enjoyable novel I've read in a long time. The author describes the adventures of Barbara, the protagonist, in a delightful, humorous way. The characters are refreshing as well as entertaining. The feisty grandmothers who play poker together almost every nite come alive and their bantering made me laugh out loud. Barbara's dilemma is common and I remember my 40th birthday and the confusion it brought me. Brava for a story well told!
