An Alluring Lady

Summary: Not one of her better books
Review: This has some advantages to most Regencies, the main one being it isn't the same old "girl goes to have a Season in London". In this one the girl is tramping through the country side with a mysterious man. My problem with the book is, I am currently on page 150 and it's been 150 pages of him mercilessly teasing her: endless double entendres, smirking, "baiting". Not isolated instances, but 150 pages of it. Well, a little is fun, but this is way too much, driving me to write this review before I've even finished the book. And yes, I'll finish it. (If it was written by someone else, I wouldn't.) Meg-Lynn Roberts has given me some fun reads. This just isn't one of them.
