Rating: Summary: REALITY RADIO Review: In this day of reality shows, radio DJ Grace Norwood inadvertantly launches a quest for the perfect Valentine's date for the station's handsome new advertising manager. The applications pour in and the subject of this publicity stunt, Brian Talbot, decides turnabout is fair play and the search soon includes candidates for Grace as well. Look over their shoulders as they sift through applications, join them on the prliminary dates, and be there for the satisfying revelation. They only want each other! But who will make the first move? A wonderful story and a fun read. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: A lyrical, free-spirited read Review: SOMEBODY TO LOVE is a lyrical, fun, free-spirited read. DJ Grace Harmony Norwood, the daughter of parents who met at Woodstock, believes strongly in love. When Grace meets Brian Talbot, the radio station's new advertising manager, the sparks that fly between them heat up faster than a Mick Jagger performance. Brian, raised by a social climbing mother and betrayed by his fiancee, no longer believes in love. When their station announces a Valentine's Day contest to find dates for both of them, Grace realizes its Brian she wants for the rest of her life. The creative musical metaphors and emotional interplay as Flower Child Grace teaches cynical Brian the power of love make SOMEBODY TO LOVE as satisfying and soul-stirring as the best rock songs of the hippie era.
