Rating: Summary: Soul Mates Dissipate Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. I honestly had never heard of the author before. One day while riding home from work a friend intoduced me to the book and I could not put it down.In my present relationship I could understand everything Jada was going through (where everything seems SO right). I have emailed my friends and told them to go out and purchase that book. Although I borrowed a friends copy I plan to buy my own and get my boyfriend a copy. I say to Mary B. Morrison "Keep up the good works".
Rating: Summary: Are you with your Soul Mate Review: I found this book to be really interesting from the beginning to the end. The characters were real,(i guess if u take out the wealthy aspects of the characters) However, Mary Morrison does an incredible job describing the sexual acts throughout the book. Regardless of your age or ethinic backgound i'm sure you or someone you know can relate to this book. Morrison allows the reader to see up front and direct the obstacles that could lead to the dissipation of a relationship. If your involved in a relationsip this book will definetly question whether or not if you've met, commited or married your soul mate.
Rating: Summary: Witty and Candid... Review: Funny, candid and witty. Morrison weaves a story that is as hilarious as it is sexually free. It leaves you wondering about your own soulmate and how the choices we make in a split second can affect your "togetherness" forever. In an instance all they thought they had, dissipated...or did it?
Rating: Summary: Let's Be Honest Here People! Review: I've read some reviews of Soul Mates which classify "Soul Mates" as porn or soft porn. I have a question? Who in their right mind would deny themselves unbridled 'Passion!' Like when you share a kiss that makes your heart skip beats. Or being so deep in love with someone that it hurts 'so good' just thinking about them. Have you ever experienced ecstasy so thrilling that you wanted to call your mother! Love, Passion, and Ecstasy are beautiful emotions that ALL of us want to feel in our lives. Ms. Morrison has simply composed a story where the 'Extreme' cases of passion and love are hi-lighted. After all, if it was an average love-making session, we'd be bored to death; and her book probably wouldn't sell very well. I commend Ms. Morrison on her story telling ability, her description of places and events, and her courage to take us into "The Room" where every great emotion surrounding love is experienced!
Rating: Summary: Have you found your Soul Mate? Are you sure? Review: If you have married your soul mate, congratulations! You are among the fortunate few. Most of us never marry our soul mate. You may wonder why, but after reading Soul Mates Dissipate you will see how easily relationships can fail. Here is some character food for thought: After rejecting four different wedding proposals, Jada Diamond Tanner finally found her soul mate, Wellington Jones. The only problem was, Melanie Marie Thompson had the same soul mate. How could Wellington have his cake and eat them too? This complicated web of deception intertwines inside their minds and unfolds within your soul as the Soul Mates Dissipate. Are you comfortable in your relationship? Well, comfort has a price! The characters have no financial concerns. They go to church almost every Sunday, but most of us do. So, is that a realistic reason to hold them to higher standard? Higher than what? Better yet, higher than whom? So, what on earth could be their problem? They are human and human beings are not perfect. And, as in real life situations, every man and woman will bring his or her "own" agenda to the table where your relationship dines, or dies. As a result, that could be the very reason why you are physically separated from your soul mate. But rest assured, the "spiritual" bond between you and your soul mate cannot be broken. Ignored. Yes. Broken. Never. That is why you still think about the other person as they will never forget you. Soul Mates Dissipate is intended for a mature audience. You can live in fatasy world if you'd like, but if you want to read what happens in the real world... Welcome to a journey you will not soon forget.
Rating: Summary: W.O.W Review: In my opinion Soul Mates Dissipate had no choice but to make it to the best sellers list and if it didn't I think the readers would have been the one with the problem. Being 22 It;s hard to find your way not only in Life but in Love as well. You are always doubting Love, yourself and your "mate" and you almost always think you are always alone in your struggles but Mrs. Morrison brings you into a world where you can at identify with at least one of the characters from Jada to Karen you will identify with one. I had the wonderful chance to meet Mary Morrison and just as her book is easy and wonderful to read her soul and spirit is easy to know keep up the good work Mary and I am looking for more great best sellers.
Rating: Summary: Soul Mates? More Like Sex Mates! Review: This novel was basically a soft porn story. And like any porno flick, the storyline isn't important; the SEX scenes are! The sad thing about this book is that the story could have actually been interesting, and even thought-provoking, if Morrison had written the whole book with the fervor she wrote the sex scenes with, if she had a better editor, and if she had given her characters a little more depth. She actually had a pretty good story, she just didn't give it the proper attention, so it didn't flourish. I won't even go into how in the world Morrison's characters were such committed church-going people, when they were giving satan himself a run for his money the rest of the week. Too much attention was given to carnal desires and material gain for anybody with a half a brain to believe that this book had ANYTHING to do with soul mates.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: Looking for your Soul Mate is a problem in itself. This book will take you on a journey that just keeps spiraling. Wellington and Jada's story is full of everything you are looking for in an exciting, romantic(oh my)and realistic story. This is my first time hearing of Mary Morrison, but I will continue to read her work. Can't wait for the sequel to see where these two actually end up. Keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: Has LOTS of potential!! Review: I read Mary B.'s Soul Mates Dissipate and thought it was great at first. Jada was beautiful, wealthy, etc. After turning down several proposals, she finally finds her "soul mate." Unfortunately, Wellington, was obviously not her real soul mate. Jada and Wellington could barely communicate, let alone be soul mates. And, you never really find out why they are in love. One moment he is giving her flowers, and the next they're having sex on the beach. She hadn't known the guy but two weeks, and he hadn't even called during those weeks! Jada is too perfect--Gucci this and Prada this. They probably couldn't keep stock in the store after this book came out. No one is that perfect. I like that Jada is confident that she is in love, but again, she has a funny way of showing it. She claims that she's got it going on and that she knows when something is wrong, but she can't even sense when another woman is creeping up on her man. Melanie is the 36-24-whatever hoochie that belongs the the "Right" faminly as Wellington's mother puts it. Jada ends up having this NASTY threesome with Wellington and Melanie. Now how could you share your soul mate with just ANY ole body?? The sex scenes were really raunchy. It's all about chocolate thighs and sensuous lips and ughhh, just nasty. If you like hardcore porn, get some Zane in your life. That'll keep ya interested. This book confuses love with sex. I think that it is ridiculous that she even got published. Some of writing is childish and elementary. I only feel bad because the book had SOOOO much potential. I just wish there was more romance and that Jada wasn't so superficial. She was always in that mirror! I just didn't see the love in this book. Where is the LOVE, y'all?
Rating: Summary: One of my all time favorites Review: This book is an excellent and quick read. It was my first time reading a novel by Mary B. Morrison and was not at all disappointed. Her writing, description of the characters and scenarios are amazingly vivid as if you are there.
