Summary: Hot and steamy
Review: Soul Mates Dissipate was an easy to read novel filled with secrets, betrayal, deception and love. Wellington and Jada were sure they were each others soul mate until Melanie showed up for a visit. I felt that Jada made one bad mistake that added icing to the drama. After you read the novel, you'll see what I'm talking about. Wellington was a very intelligent man but was thinking with the wrong head. Cynthia was full of herself. She got on my nerves early on. I'm hoping for a sequel. Best wishes to the author. Be Blessed!

Summary: Too hot to read in public . . . . . whew . . . .
Review: This book puts the H in HOT!!!! I enjoyed this book but I was a little embarrassed to read it in public because of the content of the book. This is a definately Rated - NC17 book don't let your teenagers read it. This is a story of love and lost. It is a story about what a woman will due for love or what she think is love. Diamond has this great man Wellington, he rich, sweet, and classy. Virtually everything that a woman would want in a man. But then a friend of the family moves into his house, a female friend if you know what I am talking about. Then the games begin. Are Wellington and Diamond soulmates? Does Melanie have her own agenda by moving in with her godbrother? This book is an definately easy read. The only thing in the book that really disturbed was that everything in the book had to be top of the line, everyone was rich, drove nice cars, and lots of loot. It didn't seem realistic, like the average working people. That is my reasoning for the three stars, I think that the author went a little over the top with all the extravagent descriptions.

Summary: It was steamy, but oh so good
Review: This is the first book I have read by Mary Morrison and I know it won't be the last. She tells of a story of a relationship that is ruined by a manipulative woman and in my opinion a weak man. A man who only seemed to think with one head. The sex scenes while hot only enhanced the story of Jada, Wellington and Melaine. Though I am not much on poetry, I like the poem in the end and I loved how the author used poetry for the sermons. Jada's mother and her man Robert were a delight. (Loved when she answered the door in the bustier.) Jada's letter to Wellington just summed it all up. This was an excellent novel and I look forward to the sequel.

Summary: You'll Definately Want To Add This To Your Book Collection!
Review: This book raises issues and presents situations that encourages both females and males to think before they act. Morrison 's poetic background adds a spice to her eloquent style of writing. I completed this page-turner in two days.

I really enjoyed the way bits and pieces of information was placed in the story that had me creating all types of endings. Initially, I thought that the story was going to reveal that Wellington Jones was going to be the husband that had sent Jazzmyne Jones through the changes that she went through. The mentioning of the picture of his birth-mom kept me guessing also.

Mostly all characters faced issues that had them at both ends of life...Good and bad. Even Cynthia "Mrs. Perfect" Wellington had skeletons and bones flying out of her closet.

The cool and sexy Wellington allowed himself to fall into the trap set by his so-called God Sister Melanie and his so-called Mother. Ladies...Did the author describe this man's looks, actions, and his "! " as eye candy or what?

Jada had been in and out of relationships prior. However, this time she was sure that Wellington was her soulmate. Candice, her friend, saw through Melanie and kept throwing her those "Girl, Don't Trust That GodSister/Brother Relationship" messeges. Jada was convinced that her and Wellington's relationship was so strong that it couldn't be touched.

His mother and Melanie both... Well you'll find out once you get up and GO OUT AND GET THIS WORTHY BOOK!

By the way "! " refers to his house and car (smile).

Mary B. Morrison - What's up! It was a pleasure to meet you at the Blacks In Government(BIG) Conference in DC. Please e-mail when you finish writing "Family Friends Lovers & Others" in December. You can (pre)count on my purchase. Keep up the outstanding work.

Summary: LOVE, LIFE, AND DRAMA STEAMS OFF THE PAGES
Review: Ms. Morrison, I want to commend you on doing a well job writing such a good, strong story about the challenges in love relationships - specificially soul mates. I love your usuage of poetry in between the certain scenes (at the church) and at the end. Also, liked the usuage of Diamond's letter to Wellington at or near the end of the book. I really liked the fact that you tied up all the loose ends of the plots - Wellington's parentage, Melanie and Cynthia's deceit, and the resolution of Diamond and Wellington. I also liked the strong imagery. This book only took me 8 hours to complete. I almost never read a book that quick, but this was a compelling and interesting read. I am glad you used the erotic images as a platform from which to tell us the real deal between the soul mates (Diamond, Wellington, and Melanie). I loved this book, and look forward to your chat with the Prolific Writers Network and Good Book club Members next week. You definitely have a new fan.

Summary: Never Get Too Comfortable
Review: I can understand Jada believing in her man, which is a good thing, but you can never get too comfortable with your relationship that you do not leave room for possibilities.

Summary: What a Love -Lost !
Review: The deception and deceit Wellington and Jade endured was such a love lost ! While Jada proved Wellington was her soul mate .I was not sure Wellington thought the same ! He was to busy thinking with the wrong head. Which cost him more than he was willing to give or see thru . Wellington was not willing, or just could not see through the deception, deceit and connivingness inflicted on him until it was to late . His mother and godsister cost him to lose a love so true ! Near the end I was begining to think Jada was going to be just a little to forgiving ? While SMD was not all that I thought it could have been ,it was an okay read ! The sex scenes where not as passionated as I thought but they were good ! I do look forward to seeing if there is a sequel to Jada and Wellington's saga ! Maybe she will or maybe she won't ? Life does go on Jada !
