Summary: Great Adventure
Review: Fated to a loveless marriage, Victoria flees to her cousin in Portugal disguised as a boy. She encounters the hero and convinces him to hire her to get onboard a ship bound for Lisbon. When her cousin discovers she's travel unchaproned with the hero, the gentleman does the honorable thing, but sends his bride back home while he fullfils his mission. He returns to find a beautiful stylish wife whose turned his family upside down. I loved this story. It was well done with great moments of humor and a bit of mystery as to the French spy in London.

Summary: Could be better .... then again Could be Worse
Review: I came out of this story with disappointment. It had a promising, strong beginning but as the story progressed I becamre bereft.
Victoria and Kit are good if "cookie-cutter" characters who marry because of duty and honor schpeil. Kit marries her once finding out that his temporary valet/cabin boy Victor is actually a Miss Victoria.
Sadly covert operations keep him away and through majority of the book they never really see each other, let alone get to know the other and suddenly - poof! - They're in love.
Collum is a promising writer is she can be more original and give more depth to plot and character.
