Review: After a broken engagement, artist Jane Dorning, "Dorna" to her friends, accepts a commission to accompany writer Hilary Grant to Egypt in order to illustrate her new book. In Cairo she makes the acquaintance of Simon who appears to be keeping a close watch on Miss Grant and herself. Dorna begins to find him very attractive, then she learns that he has quite a different motive for wanting to check up on her! Simon's dead wife was also employed by Miss Grant at one time, but later she found her career in ruins. Simon does not want it to happen to another girl. But Dorna would have liked him to fall in love with her for herself.
