Review: Fresh out of law school Sash is ready to take on the world as well as be a sister/mother to her five year old brother Sweet. We know the best laid plans of men and women go astray. As Sash plans crumple in front of her face, she finds she has to trust the powerful, rich, handsome, and cocky Brandon Plain.Brandon and Sash's inability to trust each other hampers their ability to work together thus causing more problems. When they stop thinking of themselves and realize other lives are involved, they see good results on the horizon. As in life another monkey wrench is thrown in the mix. The pain for Brandon and Sash is over bearing. There were sections in the book where I found myself saying oh no, or damn; my facial expressions went through some heavy changes as I read Sweet Sacrifice. Ms Rhodes has done a stupendous job of keeping you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see if the characters can become a family.

Summary: Grandmothers Inc.
Review: Grandmothers Inc is a delightful romantic mystery that takes the reader on numerous twists and turns. The excellent development of the main characters keeps the reader interested and waiting for more. The settings are quite vivid and enrich the storyline even further. I would recommend this book to males and females who (like me) have a curiosity about relationships and possibilities.

Review: Inexplicably, kidnappers target Sash Adams and her brother Trent. Sash boldly assaults one kidnapper. Eluding his grasp, she searches the house for her brother only to realize he has been moved to another location. She makes good her desperate escape, seeking out a name she overheard spoken by the kidnappers. When the strange woman approaches him, Brandon Plaine thinks she is crazy. There is no connection between this unemployed law school graduate and himself. Fame brings out all kinds of kooks, and he assumes she is just one more, albeit an attractive one. Then Sash mentions a few key words spoken by the kidnappers, and the situation becomes extremely personal. Author Crystal Rhodes pens a fascinating romantic suspense in SWEET SACRIFICE. Bold and sassy, Sash allows no one to intimidate her in her quest to rescue her brother. She and Brandon initially clash; she does not like him and he does not trust her. Their clashes add a delightful tension to the narrative that neatly underscores the dire situation in which they find themselves. Sash does occasionally appear ungrateful, however, for Brandon's aid. Nevertheless, her tension and irresistibility are easily understood with her brother's life on the line. Rhodes' careful control of the narrative flow will keep readers hooked as they anxiously anticipate the next development. While the relationship between Sash and Brandon develops nicely, it is the suspense that keeps the pages turning. Highly recommended.

Review: Meet Sash Adams, a feisty unemployed law school graduate on a desperate mission to rescue her younger brother from mercenary kidnappers. Enter handsome media mogul Brandon Plaine, who cannot fathom why complete strangers have targeted him to fork over the ransom for a boy he's never laid eyes upon. As if this isn't enough of a dilemma, things grow even more complicated when Sash and Brandon find themselves fighting an irresistible attraction to one another. With vividly appealing descriptions and realistic dialogue, Ms. Rhodes crafts an unforgettable tale of love and redemption. Sash's devotion to her brother is heartwarming, as is Brandon's gradual transformation. The action sequences were so edgy that I actually found myself holding my breath as I rapidly turned the pages to see what would happen next. The twist is unexpected and incredible, and brilliantly affirms Ms. Rhodes' storytelling talent. SWEET SACRIFICE is a novel that draws you into the story from the very first page and does not let go until the very satisfying end. I highly recommend it and am already looking forward to this author's next novel!

Review: Sash Adams was willing to sacrifice ALL for the love she had for her little brother Trent. This story was well written and very entertaining. Ms. Rhodes has a way of keeping you turning page after page. I am now impatiently waiting for her next novel "Small Sensations"
