Summary: It's an amazing book
Review: When I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It was full of suspense, comedy, tragedy, and drama all mixed into one book. I finished the book in two days. I started telling all my friends about this book because it was very well written and I would read that book over again. It also wasn't one of those books that are fairly tale, it is a book that you could apply to in real life. It was very good and I give this book 5 stars.

Summary: Atilla- Pleasing on The Mind.
Review: Atilla is by far one of the most refreshing novels I have come to read. The author, Peter Hargitai, is speaking from the heart about his own life experiences by speaking through his characters. The book opens with the struggles of emmigration and the issues that surround being a young adult in a very fast paced America with a very Hungarian family set. Having read some of Peter Hargitai's other books I can say that his emotions and feelings translate well on paper, he unleashes raw emotion on others without coming across as a pathetic sap. I liked the use of the flashbacks in this book because it puts things in a very real perspective, when he describes the situation in your mind he takes you right there, from the embarassing scene of having to pee in a hole to the scenes of fighting with Millie, one could almost feel the tension. Throughout the constant inner and outer battles Atill learned to be himslef despite what others think, he removed self image and just chose his own path; this is not a road many people choose now a days, its nice to know not everyone blabbers on about themselves, makes a couple thou' and calls it a book. This is definitely one to pick up again and read over. The only criticism I can muster up is transition, the book has structure but is a little rhetorical. Captivation doesn't have to be forced, it comes naturally with a good story line.

Summary: Attila: A Barbarian's Love Story
Review: Attila: A Barbarian's Love Story, is the coming of age tale of a young man's(Attila) life discovery. This book deserves most praise for its pure realness and authenticity. There is nothing phony about this story. The people are real and their experiences are real. If anything it is the genuineness of the story that adds to the intensity of the work. The novel deals with the basic human elements--love and life. The experiences are shared with the characters and to everyone who reads it. This is definitely a must read.

Summary: Awesome love story!!
Review: As I began to read it, I could not wait to get till the end. The book keeps you entertained with the twists of Atilla's life. His love for Millie reflects a softer tender side, to his agressiveness. He is a passionate man in love. The things that they went through to be together, made me have a positive idea towards love. If they found a way to be together after all the suffering they went through, so can anyone. True love will always reign over anything bad, you just need to have fate that everything will be okay, and Atilla never gave up hope. He wanted to be with Millie and no one else.

Summary: An Exciting and Romantic Journey.
Review: Atilla: A Barbarian's Love Story is an exciting yet romantic novel that will leave you satisfied after reading it. From beginning to end this book will keep you coming back for more. It is based on a true story about a man named Attila falling in love with a woman named Millie and all the struggles they encountered. What I loved most about this book though is how easily you can relate to many of the characters in the story. This book is a good read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Summary: The book was full of love, passion, sexuality and culture..
Review: ATTILA A Barbarian's Love Story, was one of the most enjoyable pieces of literature that I have ever read. I really had a lot of fun reading the book, honestly, made me think that I was reading the English version of Spanish literature all over again. The book was full of love, passion, sexuality and culture. I was amaze by the reality of each word, I felt like if I was in the roller coaster of Peter Hargitai reality of life. I could not stop reading and I was sorry that I did not read it before.

Summary: You Gotz To Read It!!!!!
Review: At first, I was very hesitant to start reading this novel. But once i got started, I couldn't stop, and in a matter of 2 days I finished the entire book. This novel keeps you in suspense, it keeps you wanting to turn over the page and go to the next to see what's in store for you. When you read Attila (because i know you will) you will feel what he felt as he changed worlds, had to struggle, and fell in love. The flashbacks are amazing and keep you wanting more of this man's wonderful words and expressions. Hargitai is a great writer and human being because he says straight out what he feels. You will know this once you read the novel. Recommended 100% by me.

Summary: Timeless
Review: Attila: A Barbarian's Love Story is an autobiographical fiction about the author's early life and young adulthood that displays the conflict of emotions and the effect his family's traditions and values had upon his life. Flashbacks in the novel provide an insight of the author's personality and attitude toward those around him. Some people might find the first part of the novel complicated to read because of its mainly historical content but in my opinion it is essential in order to understand the author's character, ideas, and feelings. Life experiences shape our personality and indirectly determine our beliefs and actions.

The novel also emphasizes the clash of cultures experienced by the author and his family who, unlike the author refused to leave behind a past of struggle and hardships but carried on family traditions that sought to influence the author's decisions regarding his future, especially his romantic life. Throughout the novel, the author faces the disapproval of his close-minded, racist, and unforgiving parents who disagreed with his new culture and with the girl he chose to love, Millie. Although the novel narrates many distressing experiences, it is inspiring and optimistic since it shows that in real life there are such things as happy endings.

Summary: Attila
Review: It takes a special person to be able to share their life experiences with the world. In Attila: A Barbarian's Love Story, this special person happens to be the author, Peter Hargitai. In this novel he is played by the character of Attila. Throughout the story Attila is forced to constantly fight his way through life. In the end Attila learns a valuable lesson, possibly the most important in life. This novel has something for just about everyone; Romance, Sex, Soccer, and more.

Summary: Attila: A barbarian's Love Story by Peter Hargitai
Review: The romantic title of this novel shouldn't deceive readers into thinking it's some sappy, coming of age, starcrossed lovers tale. Because although it is coming of age and the lovers do appear to be starcrossed it is anything but sappy. The author's writing style is a lyrical sort of narrative but not too involved in poetic descriptions that you get lost inbetween adjectives. It's sometimes blunt and depicts a family for what it is and can be as well as what two people will stand up against when love is the only thing they can see and want to ever see.
