Review: This book is such a delightful and delicious read. I sat down and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Rachel Cohen is on an expedition that has unexpected and enchanting surprises.

If you have ever had curiosity about yourself and your spiritual path this is unquestionably the book for you. This is a definite page-turner. It is a book that lends itself and the reader to hope and wonder. Every relationship that Rachel has I felt the author was speaking directly to me and that she had peeked into my life.

Not all women marry the "right" man at age 21 and settle into the suburbs and have 2 children. Often the life we choose isn't the life that we are expected to take by society or our families' desires for us. I felt like I was reading a book where someone took the path that they needed to take... not the path of least resistance. Finally...someone who "gets me". I felt less different after reading this book.

I loved the "real" relationship Rachel has with her mother. I don't know a woman in this world that won't be able to nod in understanding and smile with this reality based mother/daughter bond. The love she finds will fill your heart with optimism.

I don't want to give anything away, but this is not only about a heroine that you can really connect too... it is also a book that men will find it meaningful also.
