Summary: Trembling
Review: "Trembling" was an excellent book. I read the book in one week! I really enjoyed reading it, the book allowed me to realize that domestic violence doesn't favor one "type" of woamn over another. A lot of times we as woman believe that domestic violence would never happen to us, and if a man ever raised his hand to us we would do this, that and the other. The woman in this book was a very successful woman, and was like many women today who think it could never happen to them. Overall, even though any woman could be a possible victim of domestic violence, women still need to know that they don't deserve that kind of treatment. Most of all I think it's important that women be aware of red flags that may lead them to believe that someone they're involved with is violent, and try not to put themselves in those dangerous circumstances. ~Missy~

We'd never make excuses for the perpetrator, whether we were in love with the individual or not. This story shows us how anyone can fall victim to abuse. Whether it is mental, physical, or emotional. The creative, lively words of Ms. Reid are simply captivating. As she leads you into the stimulating craft that she calls "Trembling", you'll find yourself unable to find your way out of it. This page-turning work of art is truthfully the best novel I've ever read.
