Summary: Delightful and Entertaining
Review: This collection of short stories was an often amusing reading. With stories such as In the Life of Brice-- my personal favorite. It puts me in stitches everytime I read it, it needs to be put on the live stage-- to Detoured, which had me stunned in it's touching depth.
Some of the stories I could tell the author had not finished and yet they were just right for this book, I believe So Long A Time is one of those, with just the beginning of what could turn out to be a wonderfully romantic tale of how to former lovers reunite for one brief moment, after so long of a time apart, this story just sort of gets you there and leaves you with your mouth open, going and...
The Date of a cute story of marital fidelity put to the test and of course The Fourth Floor, which is, I believe, one of the author's first offerings from 'back in the day'. All in all The Fourth Floor and Other Short Stories is a nice readable book that those who want to just have something to read that will make you smile, will appreciate.
