Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Great Summer Read! Review: Strangest Angels is an inspiring book about personal growth, set very authentically against the backdrop of the LA music scene, and the music industry.Demalons' book is the story of a group of young people, who have the commonality of broken families, and troubled past. Brought together by music, they forge ahead. Unable to find the right combination, they are frustrated... until they are joined by Spriglet. Spriglet is a mysterious diva on a mission of stardom. Francis, the leader, senses that she is the key to their success. At the same time he is anxious. He knows his relationship with Sprig will deeply affect him. He cannot know how deeply. Indeed Spriglet will affect all of them profoundly, teaching them lessons in love, honesty, and communication. She leads the band through the "Minefield" of the music industry, and to some colorful and entertaining industry veterans who would recognize the groups' unique chemistry. As the quintet grows in popularity, they also grow personally. They learn to laugh and lean on each other through tough times. Strangest Angels is a very witty and engaging novel. I highly recommend it.
