Review: I read this book so many years ago when it first came out. It was recomended by Pepsi Charles, the host of a late-night radio talk show called NUANCES on WBAI-Pacifica radio in New York City. It was indeed one of the first African American love stories ever published at the time. I still remember the read as the book was very well written. It stands out in my mind because it was such a sweet love story filled with emotion and written from the point of view of a young African American man.

Some thrity years later; I am happy to see it has been re-released. Now that there is a flood of books about romance between African American men and women; I can see the quality in the author's writing. This book still stands out as an outstanding read.

I wish he had written more. If you like love stories; read a Love So Fine; you won't be disappointed.
