Review: Since I read the first review, I now know why I have never read a Jackie Collins novel. This book is a page turner, but the story is full of soapy twists and turns that leave the main character looking like a modern Barbie--she does everything wrong, but always comes out smelling like a rose. The sex, drugs, alcohol, and violence must be what readers and producers are looking for. This book leaves me wanting to pick up a good classic novel that deals with more realistic conflicts and consequences and leads my imagination through the story without providing unnecessary sordid details.

Review: Sorry sleepy in Seattle but you miss out on some great reads. This book made me quiver! Yeah, it's a little soapy but those are the stories that heat up daytime t.v. If you love to read romance and mystery and you have a day to kill ('cause you won't put this one down) pick up this book and turn a dull day into a dynamic one!
