Rating: Summary: Good Christian read with non stop action Review: The characters of Donna and Max are very familiar in personality. Both are spirtual gifted by God. Through dreams Max and Donna become soulmates and were able solve a mystery. Readers who enjoy Christian fiction will find this novel to be fast paced and inspirational. Maurice Gray has done an excellent job with his first release. I look forward to reading more by this new author. Keep the faith and stay blessed!
Rating: Summary: To Whom Much Is Given Review: There's not a lot I can say about this book except that it was entertaining and carried a good message. I liked the balance it gave between the male and female characters and although some of the novel was hard to follow at times, the overall story was well stated and the author did a good job of telling it in a fashion that made it not be as preachy as some Christian fiction novels that I've read in the past. I liked almost everything about this book except the cover. Yuck! The cover almost made me not buy it and that's a shame because I would have missed out on a good read.
Rating: Summary: God Uses Everyday People Review: This book is truly a reminder that God uses everyday people like you and I. When God gives you a gift it is amazing where it will take you and the mostly people become involved with your life. This book also reminds me that God intends for us all to be happy and that he has choicen a mate for us. Wait on the Lord................
Rating: Summary: To Whom Much Is Given Review: This is a great book! For Christians who are looking for entertainment reading without the sex and explicit profanity, it is wonderful. It references scriptures that relate to the problems the main charactors are faced with and how God has chosen them for one another. I can't say enough about how good this book is. Although written by an African American, I can see where this book will transcend color barriers based on Christian values.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This was a very good book. I enjoyed the characters and I enjoyed the inspirations of the dreams that the couple had, pertaining to one another.
Rating: Summary: Just Plain Entertaining Review: This was the first book I read by Maurice and I loved it. It is a must buy. I enjoyed the comparison that Maurice did in this book. Love with God and Love without God. I was on pins and needles thoughout the whole book. I loved Max and Donna...it was true love. By the way, I never thought about the spritual gift quite like this and I thought it was wonderful the way they were expressed with Max and Donna.I can't wait until he puts out another book.
Rating: Summary: First Time Success.... Review: To Whom Much Is Given is a great read. I couldn't put it down. Mr. Gray "kept it real" without being unnecessarily vulgar. This is definitely a great "first" novel. I love the elements of spirituality, romance and suspense throughout this book. I was "intrigued" from the first page to the last. I am anxiously awaiting Mr. Gray's next effort.
