Rating: Summary: A satirical, empathetic look at society within a great tale Review: This novel flips reality over showing us that what we think is real is often an illusion, and that what we think is an illusion is often the reality of the situation. The story is a quixotic, sometimes exotic examination of life reminiscent of Kerouac and Cervantes. This author transforms the ordinary, mundane everyday into something extraordinary. A good read! Also, good to read again-like a second glass of wine from a fine bottle -the book speaks to one on different levels. It does give one pause to consider if the illusion is in fact the reality of our lives.
