Review: Sugar Greer, a sexy lady and the wife of a preacher (Brother Yazz), comes to David Price one day asking for his protection and his help in exposing her husband's church organization as the hypocrites that she knows they are. During David's investigation, Sugar's husband turns up dead and Sugar is the main suspect. Of course, as David is involved in this investigation, he learns that there's more to this story than meets the eye and he learns that Ricky, his best friend, is also involved with Sugar Greer. Twists, turns, and surprises abound in this fresh mystery and this book will keep you guessing until the end as to who murdered Brother Yazz.One Dead Preacher, written by Tony Lindsay, is reminiscent of the style of writing that usually comes from Walter Mosley and Valerie Wilson Wesley. Mr. Lindsay has written an interesting and fascinating look into the corruption that can happen even in supposedly "good" organizations. Never a dull moment from page 1, One Dead Preacher is an excellent mystery that's sure to be a hit with the mystery fans.

Review: There was something in the title of this book that caught my attention. David is asked to provide protection for his best friend's sister-in-law, whose name is Sugar. ( I don't think I need to say anything else about her) Anyway, Sugar is a Minister's wife with a very shaddy past. It dind of reminds you of the Nation of Islam and the Catholic church rolled into one. Then watch out...the devil is about to break loose. The characters are funny and smart and Linday remembers to include just enough sex-appeal but not too much that it takes away from the suspense. This story was funny, and full of action. It was really a quick read but you will not want it to end, which will shock you in more than one way. In the words of David's friend Rick, "Look-a-here"...you must read this novel. (^_^) Peace and Blessings!!

Review: This was my first time reading a mystery and I must say I really enjoyed this one! I liked all the characters Tony Lindsay choose to use David, Ricky("look-a-here"), Sugar a woman that could whipped a man with her mind, Brother Yazz(my oh my-this man has a closet full of secrets that will have you second guessing him being a preacher!)Regina, Martha, Richard and Yin and Yang! One Dead Preacher is full of lies, deceit, love, lust, mystery and action all in one! I loved it and highly recoomend it to others! I will be reading more from this author in the future! Tony Lindsay you get two thumbs up! The ending will knock your socks off and have you with your mouth wide open!!!!!!!

Summary: Must read for the Summer!
Review: Tony kept me guessing until the end, which is good becaue I usually figuire out the twist well before it happens. ODP is fast paced and full of surprises; I cried at the end. I could not put this down, I had to finish it today. Order it now!
