Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Absolutely charming
Review: When Leandra Flanagan returns to her hometown, leaving a high paying job and a disappointing relationship behind, she is not too happy about it. However, her misfortune turns out to be a blessing in disguise, both for herself and local widower Nate Welby. Nate is a man who hasn't got over his wife's death three years before, and as a result is suffering in his relationship with God and with his three children. I have to say, the characters in this book are absolutely charming, down to the family dog. I have to say I fell in love with the youngest child Brittney when the first time she saw Leandra, she asked her if she was going to be her new mommy (she had been praying for God to send her a new mommy). Also, the closeness of Leandra's family is heartwarming. All her brothers pick on her, but their love is very evident. Ultimately, this book is about the healing power of love. Anyone who enjoys Christian romance novels will love this book, and I would also bet that anyone else will too.
