Summary: Surprisingly entertaining.
Review: This isn't the type of book I normally read. It was left on an airplane, and I picked it up during a long flight. The author's careful research and love of her subject are clearly evident, and the suspense builds until the final pages. As a bonus, she's able to describe the landscape and scenery accurately and colorfully.
